What happened this week in Destiny 2? Bungie is currently preparing the Guardian Games 2022, the last official event in this Season 16. In addition to a weapon with a unique origin perk, there were also some updates for the event, so there are a few reasons this year not to miss this event.

When does Xur arrive? The exotic vendor takes his position every Friday at 7 PM and sells his goods from then on.
Where is Xur? This is his lair for the weekend
Xur’s location: As punctual as he is on arrival, players must first locate him after his appearance every weekend, as Xur likes to be mysterious. His location remains unknown until someone discovers him at one of his regular spots. Xur is located on Nessus at the Guardian’s grave.

Trials of Osiris on April 29 – May 3 – Map, Weapons, and Info
Before the Guardian Games 2022 start, you can still play the Trials of Osiris, simply referred to as “Trials”. The 14th Saint wants you to improve, and so the best Guardians gather there to compete against each other. If you have nerves of steel, then you can venture into this tactical game.
Which map is on the agenda this week? Every weekend, you only play on a designated map. This week, you’ll be playing on the Dead Cliffs.
If you are interested in playing the Trials as a team, we recommend Guardians the Callout Maps via Warmind. This way you can properly describe to your fireteam where the enemies are located on the map, which provides useful information for the entire team.
This is how you get your loot: The Trials of Osiris feature a rank system. Your top loot reward from the PvP matches is currently available for:
- Seven wins
- 50 rounds
- as well as the infamous flawless run, which leads you to the Lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Each week you can also expect a very special weapon at the Lighthouse, which you receive for your flawless run, meaning 7 wins, as a master version. This week, it’s the pulse rifle “The Messenger”. You can earn the weapon until the upcoming Tuesday at 7 PM.
All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: “Quickdraw” – Improves reload speed, stability, aim assistance, and range when you are the last remaining member of your fireteam or fighting alone.
If you have received your desired weapon, you can focus your Trials Engrams at the 14th Saint on your desired weapon. Additionally, you will receive enhancement prisms and ascendant shards. Remember that your rewards increase even more once you have a full pass – even if you have lost one or two games.
When do the Trials start? The Trials (Trials of Osiris) start this Friday at the daily reset at 7 PM.
