In Destiny 2 you will once again be visited by Xur, the curious merchant from distant lands. If you still need cool Godrolls or Exotics, he is your go-to. Today, we will show you what he has and which map is active in the Trials of Osiris.
What happened in Destiny 2 this week? During the event days of Destiny 2, not much happens. With Update 6.2.5.1, some bugs and adjustments were made. One adjustment is in favor of elite players in PvP. They thought that SBMM would disappear, but they were mistaken.
Additionally, this week’s TWaB from Bungie provided new insights into upcoming changes to weapon crafting. Players will find it easier to build and learn weapons in Lightfall. You can find more about it in our overview.
All info about Xur on October 28, 2022 – PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia

Trials of Osiris on October 28 – November 1 – Map, Weapons, and Info
Which map is in play this week? The so-called PvP trials always take place on a designated map.
If you are interested in playing the trials with a solid team, MeinMMO recommends the Callout Maps via Warmind. This way, you can effectively communicate the enemies’ locations to your fireteam, which are valuable information for the whole team.
This is how you get your loot: The Trials of Osiris feature a reputation rank system. Currently, your top loot rewards from PvP matches are available for:
- Seven victories
- 50 rounds
- and the notorious flawless run that leads you to the lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, a special weapon awaits you at the lighthouse, which you receive as a master version for your flawless run of 7 victories. You can earn the weapon until the coming Tuesday, October 25, at 7:00 PM.
All trial weapons have a Trials origin perk: “Haste” – Improves reload speed, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last living member of your fireteam or fighting alone.
You can focus your trial engrams at the 14th Saint on your desired weapon. Additionally, there are enhancement prisms and ascendant shards. Keep in mind that your rewards will increase even further once you have a full pass – even if you’ve lost one or two games.
When do the Trials officially start? The Trials of Osiris begin today, October 28 at 7:00 PM and end with the weekly reset on November 1 at 6:00 PM.
