Today Xur, the Exotic goods dealer, visits Destiny 2 again. He will choose a random location where he will stay for the rest of the weekend. Whether a visit to Xur is worth it this time, you can find out here.
What happened in Destiny 2 this week? This week, Bungie released the Grandmaster mode of the new raid “The Witch’s Oath”. Despite the new and fresh raid, many players are disappointed with the rewards of the hard mode. They even advise against playing it.
Furthermore, the Patch 4.0.1 has brought some changes. Not only do players now benefit from improved perks and weapon adjustments, but also a new feature that will benefit you in Osiris.
Lastly, Bungie announced many sandbox adjustments for weapons, armor, and Exotics in its new TWaB. We have summarized this for you in a separate post, as the list is very long.

Trials of Osiris from April 22 – April 26 – Map, Weapons, and Info
On this Friday, April 22, the mode Zone Control returns in the Trials of Osiris. So grab a participation pass from the 14th Saint in the Tower Hangar and get the top loot and a flawless run to the Lighthouse and participate in a few rounds of conquest.
Which map is this week? Every weekend you play on a fixed map. This time on Earth on the map Exodus Blue.
If you are interested in playing the Trials in a team, we recommend the callout maps via Warmind. This way, you can well describe to your fireteam where the enemies are currently located on the map, which are useful information for the entire team.
This is how you get your loot: The Trials of Osiris have a ranking system. Your top loot reward from the PvP matches is currently for:
- Seven victories
- 50 rounds
- as well as the infamous flawless run that takes you to the Lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, there is also a very special weapon at the Lighthouse that you will receive for your flawless run, meaning 7 victories, as a master version. It also has the Trials origin perk and you can earn it until next Tuesday at 7 PM. This time with the weapon Eye of Sol, a sniper in the primary slot.
All trial weapons have a Trials origin perk: “Speed Reload” – Improves reload speed, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last surviving member of your fireteam or fighting alone.
Once you have received your desired weapon, you can focus your trials engrams with the 14th Saint on your desired weapon. On top of that, there are upgrade prisms and ascendant shards. Remember that your reward increases even further once you have a complete pass – even if you have lost one or two games.
When do the Trials start? The Trials (Trials of Osiris) start this Friday at the daily reset at 7 PM.
What do you actually think about the different modes that Bungie has released for the Trials? Do they bring enough variety to the usual PvP fights for you? Or do you prefer the standard 3 vs 3 matches where skill and shooting ability lie in controlling a zone? Let us know!
