In Destiny 2 Xur is visiting for the last time in Season 14 today, August 20th. Appropriately, Bungie has also officially revealed the name of the new season, which will start as soon as the friendly vendor disappears. What Exotics is Xur bringing and where is he hiding?
The Guardians are waiting for this new season: In Destiny, the last week of the outgoing Season 14, the Season of the Splicer, has arrived. The story will be concluded with a mini-quest and an exotic reward.
You have until August 24th to complete some tasks:
- Redeem all your Vanguard Tokens with Zavala in the Tower – otherwise they will be lost.
- Use the weekend to level up the season pass and unlock the rewards. You can claim them later as long as you earn them now.
- If you complete a total of 75 seasonal challenges, you will receive the “huge pile of Glimmer” for the Eververse.
The new Season 15 is already on the horizon. The launch next week, on August 24th, will be very exciting: Bungie is hosting a showcase, where the new season will be revealed – but more importantly: We will finally learn more about the next expansion Witch Queen.
By the way, there will also be an update including server downtime at the reset. So you have plenty of time to take in the new information. And now here’s a little surprise to sweeten up your weekend:
Bungie revealed the following: Later in the afternoon, Bungie officially revealed the name of the new Season 15.

When does Xur come? Until the transition to winter time, Xur time is always Fridays at 7:00 PM. He then settles down on a planet of his choice and brings his exotic goods to the Guardians from there. Until the next reset on August 24th, you will find Xur here.

Each week there is a random offer, while the Exo armor stats are also randomly rolled. Trials of Osiris from August 20 – August 24
Which map is active? You will be fighting this week on a variety of maps that are rotating. The rotation includes PvP maps The Dead Cliffs, Burnout, Midtown, Altar of Flame, and Javelin-4:
We will also update you with all the rewards of the week throughout the evening:
- 3 wins and endgame loot: Class item from the Trials set
- 5 wins: Shayura’s Wrath (SMG)
- 7 wins: Helmet from the Trials set
- Flawless: Eye of Sol in the master version (sniper rifle)
When do the Trials run? The Trials of Osiris start today at 7:00 PM German time. This PvP pinnacle activity can then be tackled until Tuesday, August 24th. In Season 15, the mode is also set to be revamped – we are excited.
But remember to exchange all earned tokens with Saint-14 in the Tower’s hangar.
