Do you play Destiny 2? Then you should know Xur. He is the NPC vendor who helps players complete their exotic collection faster. But only if you know where to find him. MeinMMO tracks Xur every Friday and tells you what you can get from him.
What happened in Destiny 2 this week? Things are getting quieter in Destiny 2 now that Season 18 has almost exhausted its potential.
The free Halloween event is still running for now, but that ends next Tuesday. If you still need candies or masks, the coming days are your last opportunity. And those who still need enhancement cores or glimmer will be well supplied at the event.
Additionally, two Bungie employees discussed in a podcast about weapons, raid vendors for craftable weapons, and craftable exotics. Even the magical words “weapons of the Black Armory” have been spoken.
The question of the best DLC in Destiny 2 is now answered differently. The once top DLC “Forsaken” from 2018 simply lacks the hard challenge. The new DLC top favorite among players offers that and thus rises to the top of the DLC hit list.
One more tip for PS5 players: It may be that PS4 players are not fully utilizing the potential of Destiny 2. Bungie specifically pointed this out in the current “This Week at Bungie” blog and showed a to-do on how you can change that.
All info about Xur on November 4, 2022 – PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia
When does Xur come? The exotic vendor visits Destiny 2 every Friday at 6 PM. Anyone who still has gaps in their exotic collection awaits him then, as he is the easiest way to get exotics. It only costs you a round trip and some materials as payment.
Where is Xur? This is his location for the weekend
Xur’s location: Xur can be found at a different location every week. So you never know exactly where to find him.

Xur also sells legendary items and offers unique rolls for exotics from no longer available exotic missions from previous DLCs each week. However, keep in mind: You can only buy the weapons if you also own the corresponding expansion.
Currently, he has these two weapons for sale:
- The exotic hand cannon “Hawkmoon” (Beyond Light) with the perk “Overflow”
- The exotic scout rifle “The Last Word” (Beyond Light) with the perk “Lawless”
The cost of the weapons: For these two exotics, the costs are each 1 Ascendant Shard, 1 Exotic Cipher, 125,000 Glimmer, and 200 Legendary Shards.
Xur always has with him: You can always get an exotic engram for 97 Legendary Shards, as well as the weekly quest to get an exotic cipher.
Trials of Osiris from November 4 – November 8 – Map, Weapons and Info
The Trials of Osiris are an endgame PvP activity, and they take place every weekend. There is only one exception, and that is when the Iron Banner event is active. Otherwise, Bungie fills the inventory of the 14th Saint with new Trials passes and bounties every weekend, allowing you to increase your glory in the PvP endgame.
Which map is this week? The so-called PvP trials always take place on a fixed map.
If you are interested in playing the Trials in a fixed team, MeinMMO recommends the callout maps via Warmind. This way, you can effectively communicate where the enemies are located on the map, which is useful information for the entire team.
This is how you get your loot: The Trials of Osiris have a reputation rank system. Your top loot reward from the PvP matches is currently available for:
- Seven wins
- 50 rounds
- as well as the infamous flawless run that leads you to the lighthouse
This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, you can expect a special weapon at the lighthouse that you receive for your flawless run, meaning 7 wins, as a master version. You can earn the weapon until next Tuesday, November 8, at 6:00 PM.
As a reward, there is always an adept weapon waiting for you if you manage to reach the lighthouse safely.

All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: “Speed Demon” – Improves reload speed, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last surviving member of your fireteam or fighting alone.
You can target your Trials engrams at the 14th Saint for your desired weapon. Additionally, there are enhancement prisms and ascendant shards. Remember that your reward increases even further once you have a complete pass – even if you lost one or two games.
When do the Trials officially start? The Trials of Osiris begin today, November 4, at 6 PM and end with the weekly reset on November 8 at 6 PM.
So what do you have planned for this weekend? Are you still farming some candies or sweating out those extra calories in the PvP endgame with the new pistol meta? Feel free to let us know in the comments.
