Welcome to Destiny 2 for a new edition of “Xur-live!” The exotic vendor with an affinity for the number Nine will arrive today to extract Legendary Shards from the Guardians. MeinMMO has picked up the trail to show you his offerings first.
What happened this week in Destiny 2? While the new story of Season 17 hasn’t revealed anything truly captivating yet, the Guardians are taking their time to calmly complete their collection of exotic armors.
The botched launch of the Iron Banner event with “Rift” has also led many PvP players to express their frustrations openly and even threaten Bungie employees. The players feel that their wishes have been ignored for too long, and some Guardians are dissatisfied with the changes and the current state of the space shooter overall.
Bungie will likely have to do a lot to regain their trust. A fix for the issues in Iron Banner might even come this week, as dmg04 revealed on Twitter. But that’s not certain. Because Bungie also announced that they would first address the problems in PvE, related to the underwhelming new Solar 3.0 abilities:

When does Xur come? The most famous vendor from Destiny 2 starts his show every Friday at 7:00 PM. Anyone who brings a few Legendary Shards and other materials for trading can browse his offerings.
Where is Xur? This is his location for the weekend
Xur’s location: We do not yet know where exactly Xur will be this week. However, MeinMMO knows the locations of Xur and has already tracked him down. This week you need to go to Nessus to the Guardian’s grave.

What does Xur have to offer? For all Guardians who do not know Xur yet: He is an exotic vendor of the “Nine”, an ominous race in Destiny 2, and delivers new weapons and armor to players every week on their behalf. All characters, including Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans, can shop with him.

Xur also sells Legendary items and offers unique rolls for Exotics from no longer available exotic missions from past DLCs every week.
Currently, he has these two weapons on offer:
- The exotic hand cannon “The Last Word” with the perk “Hip-Fire Grip”
- The exotic scout rifle “The Tale of a Dying Star” with the perk “Vorpal Weapon”
The cost of the weapons: For these two Exotics, the price is 1 Ascendant Shard, 1 Exotic Engram, 125,000 Glimmer and 200 Legendary Shards.
Xur always has: You can always get an Exotic Engram for 97 Legendary Shards from Xur, as well as the weekly quest to obtain an exotic code.

This weekend, there will still be no “Trials of Osiris” taking place. Valus Forge, the new Cabal name of Lord Saladin, awaits you in the Tower for the Iron Banner.
With the new mode “Rift”, many Guardians not only have to change their play style to team play but also combat the existing bugs. But no fight is easy and Guardians must show patience and hope that Bungie can address the issues quickly. The first fixes for this are already in the game.
For all Trials fans:
- The Trials of Osiris will start for the first time in Season 17 on June 10.
At least the wait is worth it because, unlike the Iron Banner, the Trials of Osiris have been equipped with a new loot package during the “Season of the Haunted.” This includes new weapons as well as armor, a Sparrow, and a ghost shell.
