This week has been quite eventful in Destiny 2. On Tuesday, April 17, the April Iron Banner finally started after a week-long delay.
Since then, some Guardians have rediscovered the Crucible of Destiny 2 and are actively discussing their experiences and the impact of this format on PvP on Reddit and in various other forums – including here at MeinMMO.
Bungie also provided a glimpse into upcoming changes for the Exotics during a small weapon showcase. The studio presented short clips of 3 reworked exotic weapons, giving Guardians at least a rough idea of what to expect with the release of the Warmind DLC and the 1.2.0 update starting May 8.
Additionally, a community summit is currently taking place, where Bungie is gathering feedback from invited representatives of the Destiny community about upcoming game content and debating the future direction of Destiny 2. Initial reactions from participants sound optimistic, even though due to an embargo no groundbreaking details have been revealed yet.
However, further information should follow this weekend. As some attending Guardians have already announced, the embargo is expected to lift then.
But today, on April 20, the mysterious Agent of the Nine appears again in the Destiny universe. Let’s welcome Xur together.

When does Xur come?
Xur visits us every Friday at 7 PM. He then chooses a quiet spot on a planet or moon of his choice, from where he can bring his goods to the Guardians without being disturbed. You have until the next Weekly Reset on Tuesday to rummage through his inventory – then he disappears without a trace.
