What new weapon type is coming? No new weapon type has been added to Destiny 2 since Forsaken. Now that Witch Queen and a much more powerful threat could send humanity into the abyss, Bungie will gift you a new type of weapon: the Glaive.

James Tsai, the Creative Director of Witch Queen, spoke about known details regarding the new weapon type, stating: “To increase your chances of survival, Guardians will have their own new and small tricks.” This refers to the Glaive, which will be very versatile.
