In Destiny 2, there are many ways to complete quests and missions, but some Guardians don’t understand what Bounties are, why players farm them, and where to find them. That’s why we will show you everything important about Bounties on MeinMMO.
What are Bounties? Bounties are small tasks that you can purchase daily from NPCs for Glimmer. The acquired Bounties then appear in your Quest tab when you access your map. To make it easier to complete the mini-tasks, you can pin them to your Ghost. When you summon your Ghost (on PC via Tab), all your marked Bounties will be displayed. However, only a maximum of three tasks can be highlighted.
Important Information about Bounties
Where can I find Bounties? You can get the mini-tasks from almost every NPC in the Tower or at other locations. The following NPCs sell you their tasks:
- Shaw Han – Cosmodrome
- Devrim Kay – EDZ
- Failsafe – Nessus
- Eris Morn – Moon
- Variks, the Loyal – Europa
- Petra Venj – Dreaming City
- Xûr – Xûr’s Treasure Hoard
- Starhorse – Xûr’s Treasure Hoard
- Fynch – Savathun’s Throne World
- The 14th Saint – Tower – Only when the Trials of Osiris are active
- Lord Saladin – Tower – Only when Iron Banner is active
- Zavala – Tower – Bounties for the Vanguard
- Lord Shaxx – Tower – Bounties for the Crucible
- Banshee-44 – Tower – Bounties for Weapon Tests
- The Drifter – Tower – Bounties for Gambit
- Suraya Hawthorne – Tower – Bounties for your Clan
You can purchase the daily Bounties for 250 Glimmer only once per day. However, you can also acquire repeatable Bounties for 3,000 Glimmer.
What is the purpose of Bounties? Many players use Bounties to level up the Season Pass significantly at the beginning of a new season quickly. A large amount is stockpiled before a new season and redeemed later. Furthermore, Bounties are primarily used for leveling. Usually, you receive an easy task like ‘Kill 10 enemies with a submachine gun.’ Once you’ve completed it, your assigned task will be checked off, and you can redeem it.
What do you think about Bounties? Should Bungie change the existing system to make it easier to access, or do you like the current system? Let us know in the comments!
