On this Tuesday, November 5th, it’s time for the Weekly Reset in Destiny 2. The reset brings fresh weekly activities, Nightfalls, and a new Flashpoint for the Guardians. Additionally, the November Iron Banner starts today. What else is there to do this week?
What’s happening in Destiny 2? Currently, Guardians can still pass the time with the Halloween event “Festival of the Lost“. Make sure to take advantage of the event’s activities and don’t miss this little hidden Halloween quest.
However, there are also new updates for the raid this week. As announced in the Roadmap for Season 8, the first raid challenge starts today.
Additionally, Guardians can enjoy themselves in the November Iron Banner and earn additional pinnacle gear. The PvP event starts today and lasts for a week.

These Nightfall strikes are available: In the regular Nightfall (Power level 820), you can choose from these strikes:
- Tree of Probabilities
- Will of Thousands
- Breeding Ground
These difficulty levels are offered by Nightfall: The Ordeal :
- Master (recommended Power Level 750, with matchmaking)
- Hero (recommended Power Level 920, with matchmaking)
- Legend (recommended Power Level 950)
- Grandmaster (recommended Power Level 980)
If you play the Ordeal, you can only adjust the difficulty. “Strange Terrain” is the strike of the week.
Strikes and story missions: The following modifiers are active in Vanguard strikes:
- Arc Burn
- Blackout
- Grenadier
The burn modifier remains the same throughout the week. The other modifiers change daily.
Crucible: The following modes and playlists can be played in PvP this week:
- Private Match
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Momentum Control (Rotational Playlist)
- Labs: Elimination (Core Playlist)
- Countdown (Rotational Playlist)
- Survival (Core Playlist)
- Survival: Freelance (Core Playlist)
- Classic Mix (Core Playlist)

These are the tiers of Powerful Gear: Powerful loot is now divided into several tiers that provide you with various power boosts:
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Pinnacle Gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes above 950 and up to a maximum of 960)
- Additional tiers obtained through the seasonal artifact do not count toward the average power level and thus to the calculation of drops

Important: Be careful, a hotfix is coming on Thursday. The patch improves the pinnacle gear – therefore, you should wait with these activities until the update is available.
