Destiny 2 brings fresh content with the Weekly Reset on May 25 for the new Season 14. Among other things, it’s time to test Cross-Play and run a mysterious mission – what else does the MMO shooter have to offer?
What does Destiny 2 offer today? Season 14 brings a wave of fresh activities for the Guardians today. First, however, you need to download Update 3.2.0.2, which fixes several annoying issues from the young Season of the Splicer.
- You have the chance to try out the Cross-Play feature starting today. Hurry up, though, because after 2 days the beta ends and you’ll miss out on the rewards for participating. You can find the beta in the Strike playlist.
- Today marks the start of the first Sever mission for Season Pass holders.
- You start the mission after you’ve visited the Splicer Servitor in the H.E.LM. and completed an Override activity. Then you’ll see “Sever: Labyrinth” in the Tangled Shore on the map.
- Is there also a secret Exotic waiting for the Guardians, like in the celebrated Disturbance mission?
- Today, the Override activity takes place for the first time in the Tangled Shore.

Last weekend, the iconic raid Vault of Glass opened its doors for the first time in Destiny 2. The nostalgic excursion was too heavy for many Guardians at launch. Fortunately, the extra-crunchy competitive mode is over, and the raid is now much more manageable and still completely free to enjoy.
This week, you have a new chance to earn the Vex Mythoclast including Catalyst as well as the Fatebringer and others – remember, all checkpoints will reset with the Weekly Reset. You can see how strong the re-release of the raid was here:

In Nightfall: The Crucible you fight through the Strike
- Terminus of Insight (Kargen, the great Psion awaits on Nessus)
After last week’s famous Discrepancy awaited as a reward in the Crucible, this week it’s the sniper rifle Uzume RR4’s turn.
Playlist Strikes are available with the following modifiers:
- Solar Singe
- Stasis Burn
- Grounded
Remember that the Singe modifier remains the same throughout the week, while the other two rotate daily at 7 PM.

This is the new max level: In the Season of the Splicer, the maximum power level of your gear rises to 1,320. This is a rather small jump of only +10 (compared to the previous Season 13). This is meant to reduce the annoying grind, and if you were diligent in Season 13, you only need to play the top activities to push your level.
