In Destiny 2, on May 22, the Weekly Reset is here again. The first Iron Banner of Season 3 is live! With the weekly reset, new activities such as the Nightfall strike and the Flashpoint can now be tackled.
It is that time again – a new week dawns in the Destiny universe. And it begins with a little highlight – the first Iron Banner of Season 3 is now live.
For a week, Guardians have the opportunity to engage in 6vs6 in the Crucible again. With the week-long PvP event, a popular map from Destiny 1 has returned. From now on, players will face each other on the revamped map Bannerfall. At the same time, the hunt for new weapons and ornaments from the Season 3 Iron Banner begins.
Furthermore, Guardians can expect more steps from time-limited quests like the Upcoming Dawn and the masterpiece upgrade for the exotic sword Worldline Zero.

Nightfall from May 22 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week, the Nightfall “The Twisted Tower”
This week you have the chance to receive the following exclusive Nightfall reward: the exotic Ghost shell Trichromatica.
No modifiers are active in the normal Nightfall!
In Prestige mode, you need to activate the modifiers using the challenge cards. These cards drop for DLC owners in the normal and Prestige mode of the Nightfall. Don’t forget that you can upgrade your challenge cards with Xur starting Friday.
The following challenges need to be mastered:
- Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with less than 3 deaths.
- The Floor is Lava: Don’t let your fireteam be hit by Protheon’s fiery ground attack before defeating him.
Heroic Strike Modifiers
The following modifiers are active in the heroic strike playlist:
- Arc Burn: Arc damage from all sources is slightly increased
- Grounded: Damage taken while airborne is significantly increased
- Grenadier: Grenade abilities deal more damage and recharge much faster
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is this week on IO. Here you need to master public events.
Cayde-6 has IO treasure maps ready for you.
Ikora Rey has meditations available for the missions “Unbroken”, “Theft”, “Omega”, “Exotic Recovery”, and “Strange Terrain”.
The raid challenge is this time located in the Gardens of Lust.
