Today, on March 31st, it’s time for the Weekly Reset in Destiny 2 which brings new weekly challenges, Nightfall strikes, and a fresh Flashpoint for the Guardians. But what else is there for the Guardians to do?
What is happening right now in Destiny 2? After the Iron Banner has concluded, the new Destiny week begins with a maintenance period and the accompanying update 2.8.0.2., which brings quite a few changes to the game.
By 7:00 PM, the maintenance should be completed, and the Guardians can dive into the content of the new week.
So what do the Guardians have to accomplish this week?
The key info about the weekly activities from March 31st to April 7th.
These Nightfall strikes are available: In the regular Nightfall (Powerlevel 820), you can choose from the following Nightfalls:
- Exodus Crash
- The Weapon Dealer
- The Scarred Fortress
In Nightfall: The Fire Test the strike
- Guardians of Nothing
is ready.
In strikes and story missions these modifiers are active:
- Arc Burn
- Blackout
- Grenadier
The Burn Modifier does not change throughout the week. However, the other two modifiers change daily.
Crucible: The following modes and playlists are available in PvP:
- Private Match (Core Playlist)
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Control (Core Playlist)
- Infernal Cauldron (Rotation Playlist)
- Breakthrough (Rotation Playlist)
- Elimination (Core Playlist)

Escalation Protocol:
On Mars, you have the chance to obtain the following weapons in the Escalation Protocol:
- the legendary Sniper Rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
- the legendary Shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
- the legendary Submachine Gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint: The current Flashpoint can be found on:
- Titan
Petra Venj can currently be found (Curse Week 1) at the Pavilion in the “The Shore” area. Additionally, you can take on the 5th Ascendant Challenge .

This is how Powerful Loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful Loot comes in several tiers, granting you various power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers also provide higher power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 over the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 over the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 over the current power level)
- Peak Gear (+5 or more over the power level. The only gear that goes above 1000 and up to a maximum of 1010.
For your information: Power levels gained through the seasonal artifact are not considered in the calculation of the power levels of your drops. The average of the gear and weapons is decisive here.
