In Destiny 2 the weekly reset takes place today, on March 26th. In addition to numerous fresh activities, the first Iron Banner of Season 6 begins today.
This is the Iron Banner in Season 6: The Iron Banner is the oldest PvP event in the history of Destiny, where Guardians can prove their light under the leadership of Lord Saladin. It takes place monthly.
Today, on March 26th for the weekly reset, the first “Iron Banner” of Season 6 starts. It runs for a week and ends on April 2nd for the next weekly reset.
The game mode remains Control. However, in Season 6 there are some new features waiting for you:
- New consumables will be introduced that lower or raise your Power Level, allowing top players to receive a new challenge and draw PvP-hesitant players into the Iron Banner.
- Whoever kills 500 Guardians while having a lowered Power Level earns an updated masterwork version of the Iron Banner fusion rifle “The Clever Punishment” with curated rolls – a kind of top weapon of the Iron Banner.
- Additionally, the Iron Banner bounties will be revised and there will be new armor pieces:

Nightfall Strikes on March 26th on PS4, Xbox One and PC
These 3 Nightfalls are now available to you:
- A Garden World
- The Corrupted (finally)
- The Twisted Spire
Bungie recommends a Power Level of 540 for the Nightfall strike. Remember that your loadout will be locked and you can activate various modifiers with Xur’s challenge card.
Here you can find the Nightfall-specific rewards, which are available exclusively through the Nightfall strikes.
This is how you get Powerful rewards from the Nightfall strikes:
- Complete a Nightfall
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
The Vanguard Strikes and the heroic story missions have the same modifiers:
- Solar Singe
- Blackout (Radar disabled, enemy melee attacks are stronger)
- Brutalizer (your melee is stronger and charges faster)
The Singe modifier will remain active until April 2nd. The other two modifiers change every day.
This is how you get Powerful loot:
- Complete 3 heroic story missions
- Complete 3 heroic strikes with a focus on the same light element as a member of your fireteam
Crucible, Gambit, Reckoning
In the Crucible, there are these PvP modes:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Iron Banner
- Rumble
- Private Match
The modifiers in the Reckoning:
- Void Singe
- Prism
- Brutalizer
This is how you get Powerful loot in PvP, Gambit, and Reckoning:
- Play 5 Crucible matches
- Play 3 Gambit matches
- Play 4 Gambit Prime matches (on the Emerald Coast)
- Complete successful Reckoning runs (up to 100%)
The Nomad is in the Tower Annex. He has weekly bounties for Gambit Prime and this one for regular Gambit: “The Power of the Traveler” (Gain points by using Supers, defeating enemies with Supers, and creating Orbs of Light). This will drop a powerful reward.
Escalation Protocol this week
Master the Escalation Protocol on Mars to earn this weapon:
- the legendary Submachine gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Ada-1, Petra, Spider, Raid
The Flashpoint is on Nessus. There you will also find a heroic adventure that offers Powerful loot.
Ada-1 has weapon frames for the bow, the auto rifle, and the machine gun.
Petra is at the spawn area (Curse Cycle Week 2). You will receive Powerful rewards by completing the mission “The Oracle Machine”, through 8 daily bounties, and the Ascendant Challenge.
Lord Saladin is above the gunsmith. All of his 7 bounties grant Powerful rewards:
- Defeat enemies with the help of at least one other team member
- Capture zones (each additional team member in a zone grants bonus progress)
- Defeat enemies while you have zone advantage. During the hunt, there is bonus progress
- Complete Iron Banner matches. Victories grant bonus progress
- Defeat enemies with abilities. Bonus progress is gained by using Supers and defeating enemies with a higher Power Level
- Defeat enemies with weapons. Bonus progress is gained with special weapons, heavy weapons, and by defeating enemies with a higher Power Level
- Defeat enemies. Bonus progress is gained by defeating enemies with a higher Power Level
Ikora Rey allows you to complete 20 random bounties for a Powerful reward. Additionally, you receive the Loyalty Reward from her if you have sworn loyalty to the Vanguard. Otherwise, the reward is available from the Nomad.
From Hawthorne, you receive Powerful gear when you collect 5000 clan XP. She has the bounties “Stay Outside”, “To Each Their Own” and “Friends?” (complete 3 Gambit Prime matches with clan members) for Powerful rewards.
Spider invites you to the Bloodsplicer.
The Raid Prestige Strikes require any kinetic weapon, an energy fusion rifle, and a power fusion rifle. The modifier is Arsenal.
The Raid Challenge is located in the Circus.
In the Eververse there are among other things the exotic ghost shell “Hissing Silence Shell”, an ornament for ACD/0 Feedback Fence, and an ornament for the Prospector.
