In Destiny 2, the Weekly Reset takes place today, March 20. With the weekly reset, the 5th faction battle begins. But other new activities like the Nightfall strike or the Flashpoint are now live.
With the Weekly Reset, a new week in the Destiny universe begins. The factions proudly display their banners in the Tower one last time as part of Season 2. Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, and the Future War Cult once again call the Guardians to arms to assert their own interests.
There are new weapons to earn again. Additionally, the 5th Faction Rally gives the Guardians one last chance to unlock Faction Armor Ornaments from Season 2.
Once this one-week event ends on March 27, the faction battles will take a break and will be revised by Bungie.
But the update milestone 1.1.4 is also approaching quickly. This update will make massive changes to the Crucible and the Sandbox on March 27. PvP will be thoroughly revised. The balance of classes and weapons in Destiny 2 will also be redefined.
But first, let’s see what the current week has to offer.
Nightfall starting March 20 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
In this week, the Nightfall is “Savathun’s Song”.
In the normal Nightfall, no modifiers are active!
In Prestige mode, you must activate the modifiers via the challenge cards. These cards drop for DLC owners in the normal and Prestige mode of the Nightfall.
The following challenges want to be mastered:
- Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with less than 3 deaths.
- The best defense: Shoot 15 of its projectiles before you defeat Savathun’s Song.
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is this week in the EDZ. There, you need to master public events.
Cayde-6 has EDZ treasure maps ready for you.
Ikora Rey has meditations for the missions “Six” and “Cycle” on offer.
The Raid Challenge takes place this time in the Circus.
