In Destiny 2, the weekly reset is back today, June 5th. Group fights are live! With the weekly reset, new activities such as the Nightfall strike or the Flashpoint can now be played. The weekly Crucible playlist is also rotating again.
A new week is dawning in the Destiny universe. And with today’s weekly reset, group fights finally return after months of enforced break.
The factions proudly unfurl their banners in the Tower once again, rallying their followers to push their own interests. Guardians now have a week to help their faction achieve victory and snag new rewards.
But let’s see what else this week has to offer.
Nightfall starting June 5th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week is the Nightfall “The Pyramidion”.
Actually, this week you have the chance to get the following exclusive Nightfall strike reward: the legendary sniper rifle Silikonneurom.
However, since the Nightfall loot in the base game strikes and the “Curse of Osiris” expansion is currently bugged, and Bungie has not yet presented a solution, it may be that no exclusive rewards will drop in the Nightfall this week.
No modifiers are active in the normal Nightfall strike!
In Prestige mode, you must activate the modifiers using the challenge cards. These cards drop for DLC owners in the normal and Prestige modes of the Nightfall strike. Don’t forget that you can upgrade your challenge cards with Xur again starting Friday.
The following challenges want to be mastered:
- Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with less than three deaths
- Siege Engine: Don’t let Brakion be shielded for more than 40 seconds before defeating him
Heroic Strike Modifiers
The following modifiers are active in the heroic strike playlist:
- Voidburn: Void damage from all sources is slightly increased
- Iron: Enemies have more health and do not flinch from damage
- Heavyweight: Power weapons do more damage and more ammo is available
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is on Mercury this week. There, public events need to be mastered.
Cayde-6 has Mercury treasure maps ready for you.
Ikora Rey offers meditations for the missions “Burning”, “Hope”, “Well Stocked”, and “Will of the Thousands”.
The raid challenge takes place in the Royal Baths this time.
Crucible
