In Destiny 2 gifts are currently raining down along with plenty of Glimmer – it’s a festive season of Ebenezer. To keep you informed about what to expect this Christmas week, we at MeinMMO are bringing you up to date and revealing what’s worth your time this week.
What’s happening this week: You now have only two weeks left to earn the Anbruch weapons with good rolls. With the new perks added by Bungie, the weapons have become stronger. Additionally, you can also obtain the first Stasis sword.
This week also marks the final triumph “Fateful Turn” at the seal “30 Years of Bungie”. If you defeat the Minotaur in Xur’s “Trials of Eternity”, you can “Burst with Joy” and also collect the helmet ornament “Terrifying Symmetry” from his treasure chamber.
Otherwise, the new dungeon “Siphon of Greed” is the current content highlight in Destiny 2. For this, players, just like Wilhelm-7 once did, have succumbed to loot greed and are on a treasure hunt for the perfect roll for the hand cannon Eyasluna as well as the new “Artful Armor” sets with unique advantages.

The Nightfall: The Trial is the strike this week:
- Testing Grounds, Nessus

This is happening in the raid “Glass Chamber“:
- In the Glass Chamber, the challenge “Out of the Way” awaits. Prevent the Templar boss from teleporting even once. At least one Guardian (usually the relic carrier) must jump into the blue-red marked spots in the arena for this.
- As a reward in the Challenge Mode of the raid, a time-lost weapon awaits. This week it is again the Destiny’s Call in the cool silver-chrome look. You will also get it there with Explosive Payload and Firefly – an explosive combination! The weapon also comes guaranteed with 2 perks per slot. But always keep in mind that hard and normal mode share the loot.

Seasonal Activity – Shattered Realm:
- This week, in the Shattered Realm of the Ascendant Plane, you can expect the “Ruins of Wrath” if you want to discover the mysteries and find anchors.

At Tess in the Eververse, there are again some cosmetic items on offer that might still be missing from your collection. This week, your Ghost is surely delighted if you gift him a scratchy, old-fashioned, green-red Christmas sweater. But please wrap it nicely.
