Today, April 7th, the Weekly Reset brings Guardians in Destiny 2 fresh weekly activities, new Nightfall Strikes, and a new Flashpoint. But what else does the week have in store for players?
What’s happening in Destiny 2 right now? The new Destiny week is taking it a bit easy, but still brings new content to the game: Today marks the start of the last announced Seraph Bunker on Io.
Moreover, Guardians are curious whether they can also get twice the loot from the Forge this week.

These Nightfalls are available: In the regular Nightfall (Power level 820), you can choose from these Nightfall Strikes:
- A Garden World
- Alien Terrain
- The Corrupted
In Nightfall: The Forge the Strike
- Brutefest
is available.
Strikes and Story Missions feature these modifiers:
- Solar Scorch
- Grounded
- Brute
Note that the Scorch modifier does not change throughout the entire week. The other modifiers, however, change daily.
Crucible: You can choose from these modes and playlists in PvP:

This is how Powerful Loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful Loot is available in several tiers, granting you various Power boosts. Consequently, higher tiers also grant you higher Power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Top Gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that exceeds 1000 and goes up to a maximum of 1010.
For your information: Power levels gained above the seasonal artifact are not considered in the calculation of the power levels of your drops. Here, the average of the gear and weapons is crucial.
