In Destiny 2, on April 27, the sports competitions are entering the second half. Who won the first event week and what else is lined up?
What’s going on in Destiny 2? For a week now, Destiny 2 players have been participating in the Guardian Games 2021. The sporting competition is about collecting as many medals for your class as possible. The first round of the competition was decisively won by the Hunters. Congratulations!
But Titans and Warlocks, don’t lose heart. The event runs until May 11, where an exotic and a new catalyst await you. Bungie has implemented new measures to ensure that there are no cheating accusations this time. So, roll up your sleeves, fish out the best weapons from Season 13, and keep going.
This is on your mind: Currently, many Guardians are not really in the mood for the event. The blame lies with the recently introduced feature of Season 14, which is causing quite a stir: In Destiny 2, everyone is arguing about Transmog – is the criticism exaggerated? Meanwhile, our MeinMMO author Philipp Hansen is annoyed that no new PvP map has been released in 574 days.
But let’s see what else is happening this Destiny week amidst all the commotion.
The key information about the activities from April 27 to May 4.
In the Nightfall: The Ordeal, this strike opens its doors:
- The Devil’s Lair
- As a bonus, there are double rewards this week upon completing the activity
At the same time, all previous Ordeals should also be selectable – good for all title hunters. You only have 2 weeks left to get the rare Nightfall weapons before they are replaced by new ones. Until the next reset, you have the chance for “The Swarm”.
Playlist Strikes have these modifiers:
- Void Singe
- Heavyweight
- Blackout
Part of a Guardian’s basic knowledge is: The Singe modifier remains the same for the whole week, while the other two change daily.
Crucible: These playlists and modes are active in PvP:
- Private Match
- Rumble
- Control
- Elimination
- Survival
- Survival: Freelance
- Conflict
Petra Venj is now located in the “Rheasilvia” area of the Dreaming City (so it’s maximum curse week 3). The 1st Ascendant Challenge is simultaneously active for a week.
