In Destiny 2, on April 17th, the Weekly Reset occurs. With the weekly reset, new activities such as the Nightfall strike or the Flashpoint can now be engaged. The weekly Crucible playlist is also rotating again – finally, the Iron Banner can be played in the 6v6 format.
It’s that time again – a new week in the Destiny universe is here. This time, it brings the 6v6 Iron Banner. The PvP event was originally scheduled for April 10th, but had to be postponed due to a previously identified issue. Now, Guardians have a week to enjoy the long-awaited 6v6 mode of the Crucible.
This time, all Iron Banner weapons of Season 2 will be available from Lord Saladin through reward packages or direct purchase with Iron Banner tokens. You also continue to have the opportunity to pursue the Iron Banner ornaments of Season 2. Your progress so far will be maintained.
Generally, things are getting a bit more exciting around Destiny 2 again. Because on May 8, 2018, Bungie officially announced the release of the second expansion named “Warmind” for Destiny 2. And a reveal stream for the upcoming DLC is already scheduled for April 24, where fans can expect first substantial details.
However, even within the current week, some new information will likely make its way to the eager community.
But first, let’s see what this current week has to offer.
Nightfall from April 17 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week, the Nightfall is “The Arms Dealer”.
You have the chance this week to receive the following exclusive Nightfall reward: the exotic Sparrow “The Weight of Guilt”.
In the regular Nightfall, no modifiers are active!
In Prestige mode, you must activate the modifiers via the challenge cards. These cards drop for DLC owners in the normal and Prestige modes of the Nightfall.
The following challenges want to be mastered:
- Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
- Beat the Beatdown: Take down a Beatdown while fighting against Bracus Tynoc.
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is this week on IO. There, public events must be mastered.
Cayde-6 has IO treasure maps for you.
Ikora Rey has meditations for the missions “Burning”, “Chosen”, and “Well Stowed” on offer.
The Raid Challenge plays out this time in the Circus.
Crucible
In the weekly Crucible playlist, the Iron Banner is active.
