In Destiny 2 today, on March 5th, the Weekly Reset takes place. This marks the start of Season 6. You can find out what activities you can play for powerful rewards here.
The Season of the Vagabond has begun! The first Guardians are already exploring Season 6 and checking out what’s new.
Once you have downloaded and installed Update 2.2.0, you can also tackle the new objectives.

As soon as you start Season 6, you should visit the Vagabond, who is waiting in a new location in the Tower. Additionally, there is a message from Aunor 1 in the Post Office for you, which includes lore to read.
Nightfall Strikes starting March 5th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week Destiny 2 offers you three Nightfall strikes:
- Savathun’s Song
- Foreign Terrain
- Will of the Thousands
The recommended power level is 540. Keep in mind that the loadout will be locked.
You can also customize your Nightfall experience with a challenge card tailored to your needs through various optional modifiers.

How to get powerful loot from the Nightfall Strikes:
- Complete one Nightfall
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
For the Heroic Story Missions, the following modifiers apply:
- Solar Singe
- Iron (Enemies have more health and do not flinch from damage)
- Brute (Melee abilities charge faster and deal more damage)
In the Vanguard Strikes, the modifiers are identical. The singe element remains active until the next reset on March 12th. The other two modifiers rotate daily.
How to get powerful loot from Vanguard Strikes and Heroic Missions:
- Complete 3 Heroic Story Missions
- Complete 3 Heroic Strikes with a focus on the same light element as a member of your fireteam
Crucible Activities and Gambit
In PvP, you can choose from the following activities this week:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Mayhem
- Rumble
- Private Match
How to get powerful loot in PvP and Gambit:
- Play 5 Crucible Matches
- Play 3 Gambit Matches
- Play 4 Gambit Prime Matches
In Gambit, you now have the choice between regular Gambit, Gambit Prime, and Private Match Gambit. Additionally, in the Gambit overview, you will find the Reckoning, for which you need a Weak Synthesizer. You can also earn powerful gear in the Reckoning.
Escalation Protocol
The boss of the Escalation Protocol gives you the chance to obtain the following weapons, as long as the rotation remains:
- the legendary Sniper Rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
- the legendary Shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
- the legendary Submachine Gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Ada-1, Petra, Vagabond
The Flashpoint is on Titan. If you master the marked heroic adventure there, you will get powerful loot as well.
Petra Venj is in the spawn area (Cycle Week 2). For completing a mission, as well as the Ascendant Challenge and the 8 daily bounties, she offers powerful loot. This is the Ascendant Challenge.
The Vagabond is now located in the Tower annex. He has a Gambit Prime bounty for you. Additionally, there are Power-increasing bounties that are quite simple. Complete 2 public events, 3 bounties, defeat 50 enemies in strikes, send 5 blockers in Gambit, and defeat 10 Guardians in PvP to earn items at power level 640. He also has bounties for Gambit Prime and regular Gambit. Powerful gear can be earned if you eliminate enough enemies with Supers.
Ada-1 has weapon formats for a sniper rifle, a sword, and an automatic rifle.
A powerful reward from Ikora Rey is available for completing 20 bounties of any kind.
From Hawthorne, you can get powerful gear when you collect 5000 Clan XP. She only has weekly bounties now, no more daily ones.
Spider has the bounty ‘Burner-Valus’ for you if you’re looking for more powerful gear.
The Raid Challenge takes place in the Circus. For the Prestige raid encounters, you need a kinetic auto rifle, an energy auto rifle, and any power weapon. Arsenal is active as a modifier.
