The world of Destiny 2 is always in motion, and each week brings fresh adventures, rewards, and challenges. This week, for example, you can expect the first Iron Banner in Season 21. Additionally, MeinMMO takes a look at the other highlights of this week as always.
This is happening this week: The Guardians have charged their light, the gunslingers have oiled their weapons, and the Arc strikers have charged their lightning. Because this week, the first Iron Banner of Season 21 is coming, and Lord Saladin is calling the Guardians back into battle.
The Iron Banner is a regular activity in Destiny 2 that draws quite a few Guardians into PvP and offers exciting fights as well as unique rewards. So, those who strengthen their skills and reputation in the Iron Banner can earn reputation and thus new gear in Season 21.
- So the Void grenade launcher “Crow’s Swarm” is returning with a quick-fire casing. It is guaranteed to achieve high damage numbers with sticky grenades. All other perks are helpful but not a “must-have.”
- Additionally, a new weapon is coming to the Iron Banner, which will be a Strand fusion rifle. What it can do, players will be able to discover from this evening.
One can only hope that it does not get too rusty in the Iron Banner during this wet Season 21.
Additionally, Bungie will continue the new seasonal quest involving Sloane and her giant fish friend Ahsa, set during the Season of Depth.
Key information on activities from 30.05 to 06.06
Strike: Twilight – The Trial by Fire
- The Corrupted, in the Dreaming City

Crucible – The rotating PvP activity
- The two modes Zone Control and Clash are running this week in PvP.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
Farmable Endgame in weekly rotation: In the further endgame, the Legacy Rotations await. This means both the rotating raid and the rotating dungeon are farmable. That means you can complete the individual encounters repeatedly to obtain various items and complete your collection, including possible exotics available in these contents.
- The weekly legacy raid is the “Garden of Salvation” with the “Divinity”.
- Additionally, in the dungeon “Guardian’s Pillar”, there is extra top loot with the exotic bow “Hierarchy of Needs”.

These content activity rotations will be further expanded by Bungie starting with Season 22. Then, players will not only be able to play raids and dungeons as “Legacy”, but also old exotic missions.
Weekly Activities
With the weekly reset, several activities and challenges have been updated again, offering players a variety of rewards and progress, and through repetition make better Guardians out of them.

Lightfall – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “At the Threshold”
- Travel to the place where the Curruli meditate and find peace. There, there should be plenty of Strand so you can train and enhance your abilities. At least, Osiris hopes so.

If you still need triumphs from the Dreaming City, then pay attention: The Corruption reveals new accesses to you with a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture”.
- Petra Venj has this week’s 2nd Ascendant Challenge for you. You can find Petra and her quest offering at the location “The Shore” in the Dreaming City. Here too, Savathun has her hands in play, as the curse begins to reclaim the sacred city of the Awoken at level 1.

The challenge in the new dungeon is currently being criticized by some, as the boss is quite tedious to fight:
