In Destiny 2 today, on January 29th, is Weekly Reset. For the Guardians, that means: there are fresh weekly activities as well as new Nightfall strikes and a new Flashpoint. However, Update 2.7.3 has also been released, including emergency maintenance.
A new update for Destiny 2 is here, but there are server issues: Yesterday at 6 PM, Update 2.7.1 was released. However, not everything worked smoothly, so Bungie had to take the servers offline for emergency maintenance.
Since around 4 AM, the servers are back up, and Guardians can finally kick off the new Destiny week. According to Bungie Help, there was a so-called rollback. Your progress between 5:30 PM and 7 PM will be reset. If you acquired something with Silver, you will receive a refund.
What is happening in Destiny 2? Originally, according to the roadmap, the quest for the new weapon exotic Bastion was supposed to go live today. However, after the community had already solved the gigantic puzzle around the Corridors of Time, the quest started surprisingly early.
How to obtain this unique fusion rifle is revealed here:
