In Destiny 2 today, on February 26th, is the Weekly Reset – for the last time in Season 5. The weekly activities are rotating. There is a new Flashpoint, fresh Nightfall strikes, and challenges.
Only one week left until Season 6 – the Season of the Vagabond in Destiny 2 starts on March 5th. However, the last week of the current season should still be exciting.
Because there are still virtually no official details about what Guardians can expect in the new season starting in March. Bungie has also been tight-lipped about the second premium DLC 2 “The Joker’s Wildcard”.
New details should finally be revealed later this week. Many Guardians are eagerly waiting to see what’s next for them in Destiny 2. But what else does the new week bring?
Nightfall Strikes from February 26th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week, Destiny 2 offers you the following three Nightfall strikes:
- Guardians of Nothing
- The Twisted Tower
- Alien Terrain
For this task, the game recommends a power level of at least 540. However, if you are in a team, the Nightfall strikes can also be completed at lower levels.
You can also customize your Nightfall experience with a challenge card according to your needs through various optional modifiers.
Coordinate your equipment in advance. Because the respective loadout will be locked for the duration of the Nightfall strike.

Here’s how to get powerful loot from the Nightfall strikes:
- Complete one Nightfall
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 100,000 points
Strikes and Story Missions
For the heroic story missions the following modifiers apply:
- Arc Burn
- Blackout: Enemy melee attacks are significantly stronger, and the radar is disabled
- Grenadier: Grenade abilities deal more damage and recharge much faster
In the Vanguard Strikes the modifiers are identical. The burn element remains active until the next reset on March 5th. The other two modifiers rotate daily.

- Complete 3 heroic story missions
- Complete 3 heroic strikes with a focus of the same light element as a member of your fireteam
Crucible Activities and Gambit
This week, you have the following activities to choose from in PvP:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Rumble
- Lockdown
- Private Match
In Gambit, triple Recklessness points are available from February 26th to March 5th.

- Participate in 5 Crucible matches
- Participate in 3 Gambit matches
Escalation Protocol
In the Escalation Protocol, you might be able to get the following weapon this week:
- the legendary IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1 Sniper Rifle
Flashpoint, Petra, Bounty
The Flashpoint is located on Mercury this week. If you master the marked heroic adventure there, you will receive powerful loot.
A powerful reward from Ikora Rey is available for completing 20 random bounties.
Upon reaching 5,000 Clan XP, you will receive a powerful item from Hawthorne. As a clan member, you can grab two additional powerful gear pieces from the weekly raid challenges “Strength of Remembrance” and “One for All, All for One.”
The Vagabond offers a powerful item when you successfully complete the weekly bounty “In the Mill.”
Ada-1 has the following powerful weapon forms available for you this week:
- Bow
- Hand Cannon
- Auto Rifle
Petra Venj is located at the Pavilion in the “The Shore” area. For completing a mission and the Ascendant challenge, as well as 8 daily bounties, you will receive a powerful gear piece from her. This week the 2nd Ascendant Challenge is active.
You will receive the weekly bounty “Grave Tide Summoner” from Spider . If successful, you’ll get a powerful item.
Your loadout for the prestige raid sections in the Leviathan raid:
- a kinetic Hand Cannon
- a Sniper Rifle in the energy slot
- any Power weapon
- Modifier: Prism
The raid challenge takes place in the Royal Baths.
This week’s highlights in Eververse:
- a weapon ornament for the MIDA Multi-Tool
- a cosmetic ornament for the Hunter’s Raiden Flux chest piece
- the exotic emote Pyrrhic Victory
- the exotic ghost shell Future I
