Today, on 26.11., it is time for the Weekly Reset again in Destiny 2. Guardians can look forward to new weekly challenges, fresh Nightfall strikes, and a new Flashpoint. Additionally, the last Iron Banner of Season 8 starts. What else is there for players to do?
What is happening in Destiny 2? Season 8 in Destiny 2 is slowly approaching its end. But before the season officially ends on December 10, there is still a lot to do:
Additionally, the last Iron Banner of the current season starts today. Here you probably have your last chance to get the current Iron Banner armor.
But what does the new week offer the Guardians otherwise?
The most important info about the weekly activities
These Nightfalls are available: In the regular Nightfall (Power level 820) you can choose from these strikes:
- The Pyramidion
- The Arms Dealer
- The Devil’s Lair
Nightfall: The Inverted Spire offers these difficulty levels:
- Master (recommended power level 750, with matchmaking)
- Hero (recommended power level 920, with matchmaking)
- Legend (recommended power level 950)
- Grandmaster (recommended power level 980)
The strike for the Nightfall this week is: “The Twisted Tower”.
Strikes and story missions: These modifiers are active in the Vanguard strikes:
- Arc Burn
- Blackout
- Grenadier
The burn modifier does not change throughout the week. However, the usual modifiers rotate daily.
Crucible: These modes and playlists are available in PvP:
- Private Match
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Team Scorched (Rotational Playlist)
- Labs: Elimination (Core Playlist)
- Showdown (Rotational Playlist)
- Survival (Core Playlist)

Escalation Protocol: In the final boss in Escalation Protocol on Mars, you have a chance to get this weapon:

Flashpoint: The Flashpoint can be found in the Tangled Shore this week.
Petra Venj is present this week (Curse Week 1) at the Pavilion in the “The Shore” area. Additionally, the 5th Ascendant Challenge is active.
These sources now provide Powerful Loot in Destiny 2
Since the release of Shadowkeep, there have been significant changes regarding the sources of Powerful Loot. We show you from which sources you can obtain Powerful Loot.
These are the tiers of Powerful Gear: Powerful Loot is divided into several tiers that give you different power boosts:
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Peak Gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes over 950 and up to a maximum of 960)
- Additional tiers obtained through the seasonal artifact do not count towards the average power level and thus for the calculation of drops
