With today’s Weekly Reset in Destiny 2, a new weapon joins the fray. However, you can only get this if you master the Nightfall. Additionally, MeinMMO will tell you what else is happening this week.
This week: This week, Destiny 2 will naturally rotate its activities again and make one of the toughest Nightfalls in Season 22 available: The Heist Battleground on Mars.
- The Heist Battlegrounds were introduced in Season 19.
- Back then, players had to infiltrate BrayTech facilities across the system to collect Rasputin’s Sub-ghost – fragments of Rasputin’s consciousness.
- Then Bungie announced they would incorporate the Battlegrounds into the Vanguard playlists, creating a particularly tricky and demanding Nightfall activity that requires everything from the Guardians.
- Some had to succumb to the onslaught of enemies in the Nightfall hopelessly. That’s also why Bungie tweaked the activity a bit again.
This week’s new weapon: For this hard Nightfall challenge, this week in Season 22, you’ll also receive the latest Nightfall weapon as a reward: The Master Solar Bow Pre Astyanax IV
. It is available as a regular drop only once every six weeks and offers all sorts of goodies like a refined perk pool and new, unique characteristics.
And naturally, the story of Season 22 continues, where a dead Hive Witch cunningly pursues her long-held plan.
The essential info on activities from 26.09. to 03.10.
Nightfall
- Heist Battleground, Mars
- Ana Bray is trying to restore Rasputin to bring the war satellites under control and prevent the Vex from taking over them. Guardians infiltrate BrayTech facilities across the system to collect Rasputin’s Sub-ghost – fragments of Rasputin’s consciousness.
Pre Astyanax IV, also as Master version
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity
- The two modes Zone Control and Team Scorched are running this week in PvP.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
Farmable Endgame in weekly rotation: In the further progression of the endgame, the Legacy Rotations are waiting.
Both the rotating raid, the rotating dungeon, and the exotic rotating missions are farmable. This means that you can complete the individual encounters repeatedly to earn various items and complete your collection, including potential exotics available in these contents.
- The weekly Legacy Raid is “Kingsfall” with the weapon exotic “Malevolent Touch”
- In addition, in the Dungeon “Sog fer Habsucht” there is extra loot and the exotic “Gjallarhorn”.
- The weekly exotic mission is “Operation: Seraph’s Shield” with the exotic impulse “Revision Zero”.
Weekly Activities
These are the ritual activities: Season 22 offers Guardians new challenges and a card deck that supports them on their missions with buffs and benefits, as long as they unlock everything and put their deck together appropriately.
- Altars of Summoning: Offer sacrifices in the otherworldly prison of the Witch Queen to summon horrific enemies, defeat them, and gain their power.
- There are three difficulty levels you can activate. So if you activate “Mighty,” the highest difficulty level with three swords, you’ll be quite challenged.
- However, upgrading your deck makes it increasingly easier.
- Savathûn’s Pillar: Activate the Pillar, defeat its overseers, and gain access to the Altars of Summoning.
- Void Crystals have a barrier around them and protect nearby enemies. The barrier must be entered, and the crystal must be destroyed from within.
- Solar Crystals will burn upon being picked up and must be transported to a separate part of the arena.
- Arc Crystals grant the charge buff “Crystalline Charge” in melee combat. Inactive Arc Crystals must be awakened with a “Transfer Melee”.
Lightfall – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “First Contact”
- In the first mission, you make first contact and learn about Strand for the very first time while roaming Neomuna with your Guardian. Strand is the new subclass from Lightfall, and there’s something else you have to do…
Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
If you still need Triumphs from the Dreaming City, pay attention: The Corruption reveals new accesses with a sip of “Queen’s Bough Tincture”.
- Petra Venj can now be found in the Dreaming City right at Rheasilvia – as always during the 3rd Curse Week. At the same time, the 1st Ascendant Challenge is active.
All Sources for Top Loot in Season 22 of Destiny 2
More Power Level comes automatically: The Power Level will also remain capped in Season 22, which means that the hard Power Level limit in Destiny 2 stays unchanged at 1,810. Therefore, no player is forced to perform at their peak every week, instead they automatically level up the artifact level in all activities.
- There are still tough challenges, even without an increase in Power Level. For example, in Grandmaster Raids, Nightfall Strikes, Grandmaster Lost Sectors, or the Trials of Osiris. Here, a high artifact level is beneficial and necessary.
However, if you are currently not yet at the hard cap of 1,810, we have listed the best sources for top loot for you here.
