Today, on May 26th, it is time for the Weekly Reset in Destiny 2 This brings new weekly challenges, Nightfall Strikes, and a fresh Flashpoint for players. But what else is there for the Guardians to do?
What is currently happening in Destiny 2? The new Destiny week is taking it a bit easier and gives the Guardians a chance to engage with still open activities. Now is the perfect time to engage with the quest “The Lie”.

The important information on the weekly activities from May 26 to June 2.
These Nightfall Strikes are available: In the regular Nightfall (Power level 820), you can play these Nightfalls:
- The Twisted Tower
- Savathun’s Song
- Guardians of Nothing
In Nightfall: The Trial by Fire the Strike
- Tree of Probability
is ready.
Strikes and Story Missions have these modifiers:
- Void Burn
- Iron
- Heavyweight
Note: The Burn modifier stays active for the entire week, while the other modifiers change daily.
Crucible: These modes and playlists can be played in PvP:
- Private Match (Core Playlist)
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Control (Core Playlist)
- Inferno (Rotation Playlist)
- Breakthrough (Rotation Playlist)
- Elimination (Core Playlist)
- Survival (Core Playlist)
- Survival: Freelance (Core Playlist)
- Classic Mix (Core Playlist)
Showdown: These modifiers are active:
- Solar Burn
- Grenadier
Escalation Protocol: On Mars, you can earn this weapon from the final boss in Escalation Protocol:
- the legendary Sniper Rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
This week’s current Flashpoint can be found on Mars.
Petra Venj can currently be found in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City. Here, the maximum curse level (3) is active. Also, the 1st Ascendant Challenge is active.

This is how Powerful Loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful Loot comes in several tiers that provide you different power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers provide higher power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above current power level)
- Pinnacle Gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes over 1000 and up to a maximum of 1010)
For your information: Power levels gained through the seasonal artifact are not taken into account when calculating the power levels of your drops. Here, the average of the gear and weapons is decisive.
