Bungie starts a new week in Destiny 2 with fresh challenges, the Iron Banner, and a new bonus. We show you what to expect this week.
This is happening this week: This week, Bungie not only brings back the Iron Banner, but also a bonus on Vanguard ranks and the raid “Deep Stone Crypt” with juicy loot.

Vanguard: Nightfall – The Fire Trial
- Hyper Network Power, Neomuna
- You are on Neomuna and must prevent the Shadow Legion from bringing down Neomuna’s defenses. You will head into the Cloud Ark and must eradicate the Blight of the Taken.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
Farmable Endgame on a weekly rotation: In the further endgame, the Legacy rotations await. Both the rotation raid and the rotation dungeon are farmable. This means you can complete the individual encounters repeatedly to obtain various items and complete your collection. Including possible exotics that are available in these contents.
- The weekly Legacy raid is the “Deep Stone Crypt” with the “Eyes of Tomorrow”
- Additionally, there are extra top-tier loot in the dungeon “The Shattered Throne”
Bungie will further expand these activity rotations of content in Season 22. Then players will not only be able to play raids and dungeons as “Legacy”, but also old exotic missions.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity:

- Conflict
Where is there a bonus this week?
- This week you can expect a bonus in the Vanguard. You will receive bonus ranks if you are diligent.
Weekly Activities
With the weekly reset on April 25, several activities and challenges have been updated, offering players a variety of rewards and progress, and through repetition making them better guardians.
Lightfall – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “At the Threshold”
- In this mission, you will learn with Osiris how to handle Strand.
Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
If you still need triumphs from the Dreaming City, pay attention. The corruption reveals to you new accesses with a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture”.
- Petra Venj has this week the 3rd Ascendant Challenge for you. You can find Petra and her quest offer at the location “Divalian Mists” in the Dreaming City. The City of the Awoken is entering the second stage of corruption.

To know where you can effectively grab your top loot, we offer you a quick overview of activities every week.
This is the new max level: In the new season of resistance (Season 20), the power level increases drastically. The maximum power level of your gear is 1,810. Thus, the power level at the start of the new Season 20 has increased by +210 compared to the previous Season 19.
- In Season 20 of Lightfall, guardians start at power level 1600.
- The soft cap is at 1750.
- The powerful cap at 1800.
- With top loot you can bring yourself up to the hard cap of 1810.
