Today marks the start of the new Season 15 in Destiny 2. Bungie has just revealed all the information in the stream, and you can dive into the new chapter right away. We’ll tell you what’s been happening this week.
What’s happening today: With today’s Weekly Reset, the brand-new Season 15 – the Season of the Forgotten – begins in Destiny 2. This article serves as your first point of reference so you know what’s new this week.

What you should do first in the new season
Ideally, you should complete the first story missions in the Dreaming City, enjoy the fresh cinematic, and then head to the Tower for bounties or quests.
- In the Tower, there’s the new seasonal weapon from Season 15 – a special rocket launcher.
- Owners of the season pass can directly get their seasonal weapon Exotic – even Free2Play Guardians receive the Exotic at level 35.
- New armor Exotics for each class drop from the Legendary sectors.
You should also grab the seasonal artifact as soon as possible. It’s usually available after the first story missions. Only after you have the item should you start collecting and spending experience points (for example, through bounties). This way, you’ll conveniently level up your Power level and unlock the important mods in the fight against the powerful champions .
We at MeinMMO also need to find our way in the new season, so the reset article might be a bit shorter than you’re used to. But let’s jump straight into this week’s activities.
Please note that the Destiny servers are often overloaded at the start of a new season. Queues and login issues are not uncommon.

The Nightfall: The Trial of Fire is waiting for the Strike
- The Hollow Hideout – so it’s going to Wirrbucht against the Fanatic
- The difficulty Pinnacle should be available right at the start in Season 15
- In the Nightfall loot pool, there should now be 2 weapons each week, we’re curious
Playlist Strikes have these modifiers:
- Arc Burn
- Stasis Thermal Exchange
- Blackout
The elemental modifier remains the same until the next Weekly Reset, while the others rotate daily.
Where are my tokens? If you’re wondering, Lord Shaxx has been overhauled for Season 15. Along with that, all Vanguard tokens have been deleted.
In the raid “Glass Chamber“, this happens:
- This challenge awaits: “Wait for it…” – You may only kill Wyverns during the Conflux phase once they start sacrificing themselves at the Conflux. Delicate, because if the sacrifice succeeds, you have to wipe.
- As a reward, in Challenge mode, you get the time-lost weapon “Vision of Confluence.” It will definitely come with Zen Moment and fully automatic trigger system.

Sources for Pinnacle Loot in Season 15 of Destiny 2
This is the new max level: In the Season of the Forgotten, the maximum Power level of your gear is 1,330. That’s only a +10 increase compared to the previous Season 14. So you can dive into the endgame activities much faster and do not have to level up as much.
Pinnacle Loot brings you above 1,320.
Which loot this is in Season 15 and from which sources you can get Pinnacle Gear remains to be seen throughout the week. Next week you will find the listing of all sources for Pinnacle Loot on MeinMMO as usual. However, in the past season, these activities were included:
- Achieve a minimum of 100,000 points as a team in the Nightfall: Trial of Fire
- Simulation: Exo-Challenge
- Omen mission
- Prophecy Dungeon
- Signs mission
- Trials of Osiris
- Raid the “Glass Chamber”
- Imperial Hunt for Upgrade
- Complete 3 Gambit matches
- Complete 3 Crucible matches in Control
- Complete 3 Strikes with the appropriate focus
- Hawthorne’s Clan Quest
Whether the aforementioned sources will again give Pinnacle Loot is still unclear.
Glittering Dust Highlights in the Eververse
A new season also means lots of new cosmetics with which you can personalize your Guardians or gear. Many of the items from the Eververse can also be obtained during Season 15 without real money, just with Glimmer. The offer rotates weekly, so bring patience.
