In Destiny 2 today, on 22.10., is Weekly Reset. Guardians have fresh weekly activities as well as new Nightfall Strikes and a new Flashpoint. But what else is there to do?
What’s happening in Destiny 2? Starting today, there is a new exotic quest available for Guardians. Completing it rewards you with the exotic bow Leviathan’s Breath. Here you can find everything about the quest:

The main information about the weekly activities
The following Nightfalls can be selected this week: In the regular Nightfall (power level 820), you can choose from these strikes:
- A Garden World
- The Pyramidion
- The Corrupted
These difficulty levels are provided by Nightfall: The Nightfall :
- Master (recommended power level 750, with matchmaking)
- Hero (recommended power level 920, with matchmaking)
- Legend (recommended power level 950)
- Grandmaster (recommended power level 980)
This week, the strike “Savathun’s Song” is up. Keep in mind that you can only choose the difficulty level in the Nightfall, not the strike itself.
Strikes and Story Missions: The following modifiers are active in the Vanguard Strikes:
- Solar Singe
- Grounded
- Brutalizer
Whereas the Singe modifier does not change throughout the week. The other two modifiers rotate daily.
Crucible: In PvP, you have these options between these modes and playlists:
- Private Match
- Rumble (core playlist)
- Mayhem (rotation playlist)
- Labs: Elimination (core playlist)
- Breakthrough (rotation playlist)
- Survival (core playlist)
- Survival: Freelance (core playlist)
- Classic Mix (core playlist)
- Control (core playlist)
Account: The following modifiers are active:
- Void Singe
- Heavyweight
Escalation Protocol: In the final boss fight in Escalation Protocol on Mars, you have the chance to obtain the following weapon:
- the legendary Submachine Gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint: The Flashpoint is located in the EDZ this week.
Petra Venj can now be found (Curse Week 2) for one week directly at the landing zone of the Dreaming City. Additionally, the 6th Ascendant Challenge is currently active.

These are the tiers for powerful gear: Powerful loot is now divided into several tiers that grant you various power boosts:
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Peak Gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes above 950 and up to a maximum of 960)
- Additional tiers obtained through the seasonal artifact do not count towards the average power level and thus do not factor into the drop calculations

- Nightfall: The Nightfall with a team score of 100,000 or more
