In Destiny 2 a new week begins in Season 15. You are to explore new secrets, find an upgrade for the new Exotic Agers Scepter, and Bungie has also announced changes for the Trials this weekend.
This week in Destiny 2: The ongoing Season 15, the Season of the Lostn, is turning one month old. Bungie is giving Guardians a fresh Masterwork Catalyst for the Exotic that was released just last week.
Additionally, the story involving Crow, Mara, and Savathûn continues – the long quest “Wayfinder’s Voyage” (53 steps) will not be completed this week either. MeinMMO will look into what Destiny 2 will offer you to log in this week.
Here’s how to get the new exotic catalyst: To give the new Exotic Agers Scepter its final form, you need to find the Masterwork Catalyst for the weapon. It has been in the game since September 21.
You will receive the Catalyst as a random drop after completing “Astral Alignment.” This is the seasonal activity in the Dreaming City. Once you have found the Catalyst, you need to level it up through 1,000 kills with Agers Scepter to unlock the new ability – precision final blows and destructible walls grant faster progress.
What can Agers Scepter do then? You sacrifice your Super energy to deal more damage with Agers Scepter’s beam and gain better slowing and freezing capabilities. Additionally, the magazine will be overcharged beyond its normal capacity. How strong the weapon will be remains to be seen in the coming days.
In front of boss Atheon, the challenge “Ensemble-Refrain” is on: In each of the 3 Oracle waves, each player may only destroy one Oracle.
As a reward, in the Challenge Mode you will receive the time-lost weapon “Corrective Measure.” The heavy machine gun will then guarantee 2 perks per slot.

This is new in the Trials: Bungie has significantly revamped the PvP mode Trials of Osiris, the Trials, and is celebrating great successes. This Friday brings 3 additional changes for the PvP mode:
You can no longer see how many opponents are in matchmaking. You can no longer avoid 3-player teams since the counter is hidden.
In the Trials Labs – an experimental playlist – a new mode is being tested. Here, you need to capture a zone quickly, which randomly changes its location in each round.
After a revival, you do not receive new special ammunition (green).
The last changes were not well received by some players. Will the experiments this week be less controversial? This is what Trials players are currently upset about:
Petra Venj stands directly next to the spawn of the Dreaming City. This means it is the 2nd curse week. The 3rd Ascendant Challenge must be mastered.
In the Dreaming City, the Atlas images of the 3rd week will now also be scattered. So keep your eyes peeled.
Sources for top loot in Season 15 of Destiny 2
This is the new max level: In the Season of the Lost, the maximum Power level of your equipment is 1,330. This means the Power level has only increased by +10 compared to the previous Season 14. So you are not burdened with tedious levels but can jump straight into the endgame.
This top loot (Pinnacle Gear) will get you above 1,320:
Achieve at least 100,000 points as a team in the Dusk: Trial by Fire (+2)
The Exotic Hunter ornament “Queens Cobra” for Ophidia Spatha
The exotic Titan ornament “Jian” for One-Eyed Mask
Exotic Warlock ornament “Caduceus” for Ophidian Aspect
