A new week begins in Destiny 2 and as always, all challenges will be reset with the Weekly Reset. This week is also great for getting appreciation, as the Iron Banner returns, causing some Guardians to be completely engulfed by the PvP event for the full 7 days.
This week: As every week, reset in Destiny 2 takes place today. It refreshes your rewards and provides a smooth transition at 6 PM, bringing an exciting story treat in the “Season of Resistance”.
Don’t forget to look for the new upgrade for “Vexcalibur” by exploring the secret paths in the exotic mission using the Asher-Mir glaive and its shield.
Otherwise, the week is all about the Iron Banner. Lord Saladin, or Valus Forge as he is called among the Cabals, had to wait a week due to a bug. But now he is back.
Instead of “Rift”, “Eruption” or “Fortress”, players can look forward to a classic “Control” in the PvP event. This will cause some Guardians to disappear for top loot and appreciation in this PvP playlist for several days.
You can also expect an update on the Iron Banner weapons:
- “Jorum’s Claw” – A new 390 pulse rifle with Adaptive Frame and 38 magazine
- “Foxbite” – The well-known kinetic sniper rifle from Season 4
Due to the fast matches, players can gain a healthy amount of appreciation – even if it is controversial.
Key information about activities from March 21 to 28.
Strike: Nightfall – The Trial by Fire
- “The Arms Dealer”, in the European Dead Zone
- Even though you will continue to deal with a lot of Cabals in this strike, Bungie has also revised the strike a bit and added new enemies, new encounters, new mechanics, and new objectives. However, in the end, it’s still about defeating the boss “Bracus Tynoc”, who likes to unleash his horde of warbeasts on you.
What’s changing in Lightfall regarding the Nightfalls: The Vanguard challenges will be adjusted to accommodate these changes in Lightfall. Additionally, Bungie will integrate a scoring system into the Vanguard Ops playlist. The higher your score, the greater the multiplier for your Vanguard rank.
- Complete Vanguard activities with the wave focus.
- These can be either the seasonal waves for Nightfalls or the weekly waves for Vanguard Ops.
- Complete Nightfall activities.
- Higher difficulty levels provide more progress.
- A single Pinnacle Nightfall also completes this challenge. However, it will only be available again in the game starting April 11, 2023.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
- The weekly legacy raid is the “Vault of Glass”.
- In addition, there is extra pinnacle loot in the dungeon “The Shattered Throne”.
Bungie will further expand these content rotations starting in Season 22. Then players will not only be able to play raids and dungeons as “legacy”, but also old exotic missions.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity:
- Fight as a fireteam in “Momentum Control” without radar and with more power on all weapons and for points as well as kills.
Where is there a bonus this week?
In week 4, Destiny 2 grants you a bonus on the Vanguard ranks.

Here come the most important activities of this week. Guardians will have to fight not against Savathun but against the Witness as the main antagonist in Destiny 2 in year 6. Currently, many questions are in the room that need to be resolved, especially with the ominous veil.

- The Guardians are hot on Calus’ heels. But to defeat him, they must master the new Strand ability. So fight your way past the Vex in Neomuna and find another realization for your ability in Maya’s Refuge.

If you still need triumphs from the Dreaming City, pay attention. The second stage of the Corruption reveals new accesses with a sip of “Queen’s Leaves Tincture”.
- Petra Venj can be found in the Rheasilvia area in the Dreaming City. The entire zone is in the 3rd curse week. The 4th Ascendant challenge must be mastered.
