Destiny 2 has its Weekly Reset today, on March 19th. You can find out what activities you get to do here in overview.
The big excitement around the start of Season 6 has since calmed down. The major new features, such as Gambit Prime, the Reckoning or the Invitations of the Nine, are now known and have already been played by many Guardians. The Loyalty Quest and the Thorn Quest are also active.
This is happening today in Destiny 2: Nevertheless, there is still plenty going on in the third week of Season 6:
- Update 2.2.0.2 has been deployed. This happened just before today’s Weekly Reset. Among other things, it resolves issues with Powerful rewards.
- In Gambit Prime, the map “Legion-Prunkbau” is making its debut.
- Also, many activities will be reset with the Weekly Reset. Let’s take a look at these now.
Nightfall Strikes on March 19th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
You can choose between these three Nightfall Strikes:
- Strange Terrain
- The Arms Dealer
- Will of the Thousands
The recommended Power Level is 540. Don’t forget that the loadout will be locked. With Xur’s challenge card, you can apply various modifiers to the Nightfall.
Here you can find the Nightfall-specific rewards that are exclusively available through the Nightfall Strikes.
This is how you get Powerful rewards from the Nightfall Strikes:
- Complete a Nightfall
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 100,000 points
Story Missions and Strikes
The heroic story missions and the Vanguard strikes feature the following modifiers:
- Arc Burn
- Grounded
- Grenadier
The Burn modifier remains active all week until March 26th. The other two modifiers rotate daily.
This is how you get Powerful loot:
- Complete 3 heroic story missions
- Complete 3 heroic strikes with a focus on the same light element as a member of your fireteam
Crucible Activities and Gambit
In PvP, these tasks await you:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Lockdown
- Rumble
- Private Match
This is how you get Powerful loot in PvP and Gambit:
- Complete 5 Crucible matches
- Complete 3 Gambit matches
- Complete 4 Gambit Prime matches
The Drifter is located in the Tower addition. He has weekly bounties for Gambit Prime and this one for standard Gambit: “In the Mill” (Earn points by defeating enemies and Guardians and depositing motes). This will drop a powerful reward.
You can also earn Powerful gear through Reckoning matches.
Escalation Protocol this week
In the Escalation Protocol on Mars, you can earn this lovely weapon:
- the legendary shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
Flashpoint, Ada-1, Petra, Spider, Raid
The Flashpoint is in the European Dead Zone. There, you can also play a heroic adventure to earn additional Powerful loot.
Ikora Rey asks you to complete 20 random bounties for a Powerful reward. Additionally, you receive the Loyalty reward from her when you pledge your loyalty to the Vanguard. Otherwise, the reward is available from the Drifter.
Ada-1 has weapon patterns for the sniper rifle, sword, and auto rifle.
Petra is located at the Shore (Curse Cycle Week 1). The mission is “Broken Courier”. Additionally, you will receive powerful rewards through 8 daily bounties and the Ascendant challenge. This is the Ascendant challenge.
Spider invites you to the Bloodletter.
Hawthorne offers Powerful gear when you collect 5000 Clan XP. She has only weekly bounties available now, no more daily ones. The weekly bounties offer Powerful rewards.
The Raid Challenge is in the Garden of Salvation.
The Raid Prestige Strikes require a kinetic primary, any energy weapon, and a grenade launcher. Prism is active.
In Eververse, the highlights are the Praxian Splendor (exotic Sparrow), an ornament for the Burning Heart, and an ornament for the Rat King.
