In Destiny 2 today, on December 19th, is the Weekly Reset. New activities are coming, such as the Nightfall strike and the Flashpoint.
In the Destiny 2 universe, a major event is taking place today: It is going to snow! Starting at 6 PM, right on time for the Weekly Reset, the kickoff for the Dawning – the winter event that will accompany us in the coming weeks, will take place.
During the Dawning, there are new activities to play and new loot to earn – especially cosmetic items. We have gathered all the information about this event here:
However, at 6 PM, not only the festivities will begin, but the weekly milestones will also be reset. Let’s see what the new week brings.
Nightfall Strike starting from December 19th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week, The Arms Dealer is the Nightfall.
The modifiers:
- Momentum: Abilities recharge faster.
- Timewarp: Zero Hour – The mission timer cannot be extended.
The challenges:
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes remaining.
- Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
- Defeat a Harvester while fighting Bracus Tynoc.
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is on Titan. There, you can conquer public events.
The Raid Challenge takes place in the Royal Pools.
Cayde-6 has treasure maps for Titan.
Ikora Rey has a Dawning quest as well as the meditations Six, Cycle, and Tree of Probabilities.
Tess Everis sells ornaments for the Lion’s Roar, Risky Business, and Unrelenting Lion for Glimmer. Additionally, she offers the emotes Shuffle Dance and Good Idea. Furthermore, she sells Dawning items for Glimmer, like the Dawning armor chest piece, an exotic Sparrow named Holiday Cheer, as well as a ship, a ghost shell, an emote, a teleport effect, and a winter shader pack.
Remember that now all vendors have a selection of legendary items that you can purchase for shards and the corresponding tokens.
