The Weekly Reset in Destiny 2 brings four things today. Firstly, from today you can play the exo mission “Cursed” and Eva and Mara Sov are still not on vacation. Secondly, the pinnacle strikes will be activated in the endgame.
This is happening this week: Even though Bungie is already taking a short winter break, Destiny 2 continues. Today players will experience the start of the new exo mission, the pinnacle dawn will be unlocked, the Dawning event continues, and of course there is also a new chapter of the Season of Wishes story.
- In the exo mission called “Cursed”, the stars guide you through the Dreaming City. If you complete this mission, a powerful and unique weapon “Wish-Ender”, which is hidden in the Black Garden, awaits you. This weapon can be crafted and with each completion of the weekly mission you can earn more weapon traits.
- You will receive the mission from Crow simply by playing the story of this week.
- In the dawns, the difficulty “Pinnacle” will be unlocked. This promises a tough fight for everyone looking to earn or re-gold the Conqueror title for the first time.
- This week you can also continue the story. Riven is still missing some eggs and only you can retrieve them with the help of Mara Sov and her technics.
- Finally, Eva Levante continues to celebrate the Dawning with the players this week to honor the spirit of giving. So she wants to see cookies from you in exchange for Dawning weapons, a new ice-cold memento, and feathered Dawning armor.

Dawn
- “Sea of Shadows”, in the European Dead Zone
- Your task is to free the water supply from the threat to secure clean water for the population. Furthermore, Bungie has spruced up this activity for Lightfall 2023 so you need to adjust your gameplay a bit.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity
- This week in PvP, the modes Checkmate Control, Domination, and Showdown are available.
Bonus this week
- Earn more dawn rewards as well as more reputation rank with the Vanguard.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
Farmable Endgame on a weekly rotation: For all who enjoy challenges, the so-called Legacy rotations await in the endgame. They can be repeated and farmed.
What does “Farmable Endgame” mean in Destiny 2?
Since Season 21 all missions and raids rotate every week and are farmable. This means: the active rotation raid, the active rotation dungeon, and the exotic rotation missions can be farmed in the week. You can complete the individual encounters multiple times to obtain different items and complete your collection, including any exotics available in these contents.

- Storm the Bastion: Enter the ruin of the Warlock and banish the derision and the possessed from the wish magic.
Lightfall – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “Backbreaking”
- This mission reveals more information about the CloudArk, which the Guardians are meant to discover. Rohan therefore sends you to the reactor of the network – the infrastructure of Neomuna.
Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
- Petra Venj can now be found in the Dreaming City near Rheasilvia – just as always during the 3rd curse week. At the same time, the 1st Ascendant Challenge is active.

Glint Dust Highlights in the Eververse
Currently, there are new Dawning armors in the Eververse. Players can obtain them for 6,000 Glint Dust. You can either use your saved Glint Dust or bake mountains of cookies for Eva and receive 10 Glint Dust per cookie. Her additional bounties can be farmed as long as you have enough Dawning Essence. Through the weekly Eva bounties, there is even more Glint Dust to be earned.
