In Destiny 2, the Weekly Reset is happening today, on November 19. This brings new weekly challenges and fresh Nightfall strikes for the Guardians. A new Flashpoint is also waiting for the Guardians. But what else is there to do?
What’s new in Destiny 2? This week the Halloween event “Festival of the Lost” ends with all its activities. But new content is also launching. Today, the final assault of the Vex Offensive begins.

The most important information about the weekly activities
These Nightfall strikes you can play: In the regular Nightfall (Power level 820) you can choose from these strikes:
- The Terminus of Insight
- Strange Terrain
- The Hollowed Hideout
Nightfall: The Trial by Fire offers these difficulty levels:
- Master (recommended Power Level 750, with matchmaking)
- Hero (recommended Power Level 920, with matchmaking)
- Legend (recommended Power Level 950)
- Grandmaster (recommended Power Level 980)
While you can only set the difficulty level for the Trial by Fire. The strike of the week is “The Scarlet Fortress.”.
Strikes and story missions: The following modifiers are active in Vanguard strikes:
- Void Singe
- Iron
- Heavyweight
The Singe modifier remains the same for the entire week. However, the other modifiers change daily.
Crucible: In PvP you can choose from these modes and playlists:
- Private Match
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Mayhem (Rotating Playlist)
- Labs: Elimination (Core Playlist)
- Breakthrough (Rotating Playlist)
- Survival (Core Playlist)
- Survival: Freelance (Core Playlist)
- Classic Mix (Core Playlist)
- Control (Core Playlist)
Showdown: The following modifiers are active:
- Solar Singe
- Heavyweight
Escalation Protocol: You can currently snag this weapon in the Escalation Protocol on Mars:

Flashpoint: The current Flashpoint can be found in the EDZ.
Petra Venj is currently located (Curse Week 3) in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City. Additionally, this week the 4th Ascendant Challenge is active.

These are the tiers of Powerful Gear: Powerful Loot is divided into several tiers, giving you different power boosts:
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current Power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current Power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current Power level)
- Top Gear (+5 or more above Power level. The only gear that goes over 950 and up to a maximum of 960)
- Additional tiers obtained through the seasonal artifact do not count towards the average Power level and thus not towards the drop calculation
