The Weekly Reset brings players in Destiny 2 today, on May 19, fresh weekly activities, new Nightfall Strikes, and a new Flashpoint. What else is there for the Guardians to do?
What’s coming in Destiny 2? Players are curious whether they can complete the quest “The Lie” this week – currently, a bug is hindering completion, and the current Update 2.8.1.2 also offers no fix for it.
The hardened Guardians will face several challenges in the Grandmaster difficulty of the Nightfall. Those who persevere are one step closer to the prestigious title “Conqueror”.

The key info about the weekly activities from May 19 to May 26.
These Nightfalls are available: The regular Nightfall (Power level 820) awaits with these Nightfall Strikes:
- The Pyramidion
- A Garden World
- The Corrupted
In Nightfall: The Ordeal, you will fight through only one Strike all week:
- The Inverted Spire
But this one is tough.
Whoever wants to try the Grandmaster difficulties can choose from 5 Strikes this week. This way, you can tackle Nightfalls you thought you had missed and advance your title hunt.
Strikes and Story Missions have these modifiers:
- Solar Surge
- Grounded
- Fanatic
Note that the Surge modifier does not change throughout the week. However, the other modifiers do switch daily.

The Flashpoint this week is on:
- Titan – so pay Sloane a visit
Petra Venj can currently be found (Curse Week 2) for one week directly at the landing zone of the Dreaming City. Also, the 6th Ascendant Challenge is currently active.

This is how Powerful Loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful Loot comes in several tiers that grant you various power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers grant you higher power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Top gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes above 1000 and up to a maximum of 1010.)
For your information: Power levels obtained through the seasonal artifact are not considered when calculating the power levels of your drops. Here, the average of the gear and weapons is what matters.
