In Destiny 2 the 22nd week of Season 15 begins tonight. Players still have a good five weeks ahead until the new expansion and the debut of Savathun. Since Bungie keeps the conclusion of the story in Season 15 open, let’s see what else is in store for you this week.
This week: For all fans of Destiny 2 Guardian fashion and the magazine “Threads of Light”, there’s news this week. Another issue is coming, so you’ll soon be able to admire the three brand new winning looks. Whether there will be as much fuss about Bungie’s selection remains to be seen.
The Star Horse continues to rotate: The Trials of Eternity still offer a variety of loot. What you receive changes weekly. The rotation includes faction loot, drops from the general world pool, and all Seventh Seraph and Season of Arrival weapons. This week, you can earn the faction weapons and armor sets.
Otherwise, our recommendation is to slowly start focusing on Witch Queen. If you invest a bit of time, you can prepare and hoard around 1.6 million experience points. This will help you unlock the mods in the seasonal artifact a bit faster when the expansion launches.

The Nightfall: The Crucible is the strike this week:
- The Corrupted, in the Dreaming City
- In Bringing Home Techians, the Guardians already have practice and can also free one of Queen Mara’s closest advisors from the control of the Taken this week during the strike.
- These Nightfall weapons are currently available:
- Heatseeker, Arc Rocket Launcher (Master)
- Disunity SR4, Kinetic Scout Rifle (Master)
- Playlist strikes have these modifiers:
- Incinerate: Solar
- Solar Thermal Exchange
- Freeze Grip
- The Incinerate modifier will accompany you all week, while the others change daily.
- Weekly bonus this week:
- The Vanguard grants you double loot in the Nightfall this week.
What’s happening in the Raid “Glass Chamber“:
- In the Glass Chamber, the challenge “The Only Oracle for You” takes place. A tricky task and somewhat more challenging. You must never kill the same oracle twice during the oracle phase – so switch positions in the encounter after each round. Good communication and organization are therefore essential.
- As a reward in challenge mode, the Time-Lost Weapon “Praedyth’s Revenge” (sniper rifle) awaits. The weapon will definitely come with 2 perks per slot. But always remember that hard and normal mode share the loot.
