In the world of Destiny 2, the weekly reset has come. But this time, something dark lurks in its shadow. The Halloween event is here to teach you to fear. So get ready to experience the horror in all its glory and grab not only dark mementos and Hocus Pocus but also mountains of glimmer.
Everything comes at once today: In Destiny 2, not only are the playlists rotating during the weekly reset this Tuesday. Halloween is finally on the starting blocks after the delayed update.
- The big midseason update 7.2.5 of Season 22 is now in the game and brings changes to some exo armors, abilities, and weapons.
- Additionally, today the annual Halloween event starts, where the Guardians can finally try out the new
Hocus Pocus
. - But that’s not all. There will also be a dark leather memento and, of course, plenty of opportunities to get a spooky armor set and earn glimmer without limits.
The Festival of the Lost lasts 3 weeks, and every interested Guardian, old and new, is invited to participate in the “Festival of the Lost” for free. To take part in the event, you do not need to own any DLC or a season pass. It is enough if you have completed the first introductory mission in the Cosmodrome.

Weekly activities
These are the ritual activities: Season 22 offers Guardians new challenges and a card deck that supports them on their missions with buffs and benefits, as long as they unlock everything and assemble their deck appropriately.
- Altars of Summoning: Make offerings in the otherworldly prison of the Witch Queen to summon hideous foes, defeat them, and gain their power.
- Here you can activate three difficulty levels. So whoever activates “Powerful,” the highest difficulty level with three swords, will also break a sweat.
- However, expanding your deck makes it increasingly easier.
- Savathûn’s Pillar: Activate the pillar, defeat her overseers, and gain access to the Altars of Summoning.
- Void crystals have a barrier around them and protect nearby enemies. The barrier must be entered and the crystal destroyed from the inside.
- Solar crystals burn upon picking up and must be transported to a separate part of the arena.
- Arc crystals grant the melee charge buff “Crystalline Charge.” Inactive Arc crystals must be awakened with a “transfer melee.”

- In this week’s weekly Lightfall mission, you can drive tanks. You have no more time and must assist Rohan at the radial mast.
Ascendant challenge – Dreaming City
If you still need triumphs from the Dreaming City: The Corruption reveals to you new accesses with a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture,” so you can find these.
- Petra Venj is up at the pavilion in the area “The Shore” in the Dreaming City. The curse cycle is reset, and Curse Week 1 is active. The 5th ascendant challenge is also active.
