The weekly reset brings players in Destiny 2 today, on July 14, fresh weekly activities, new Nightfall strikes, and a new Flashpoint. What else is there to do for the Guardians?
What’s happening in Destiny 2? Like last week, the new Destiny week starts with an update and the associated maintenance work. However, there shouldn’t be a long downtime this time either.
Once the update is installed, logging in should be possible and the new Destiny week can begin. However, whether today’s reset brings new content is still unknown despite looking at the roadmap for Season 11.
We do know that the Triumph moments 2020 continue and which achievements and rewards can be unlocked by the Guardians.

These Nightfalls are available: The regular Nightfall (power level 820) offers you these Nightfall strikes:
- Exodus Crash
- Will of the Thousands
- Bruteforced
In Nightfall: The Crucible the strike
- A Garden World
is active.
Strikes and story missions are available with the following modifiers:
- Arc Singe
- Blackout
- Grenadier
Please note that the Singe modifier remains the same throughout the week. The other modifiers rotate daily.
Crucible: In PvP, these modes are available:
- Private Match (Core Playlist)
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Control (Core Playlist)
- Conflict (Rotation Playlist)
- Countdown (Rotation Playlist)
- Elimination (Core Playlist)
- Survival (Core Playlist)
- Survival: Freelance (Core Playlist)

Accountability: These modifiers are active:

Escalation Protocol: The weapons of the Escalation Protocol can be earned in Season 11 from the Contact event and the Prophecy dungeon in the current version with additional perks and mod slots. The armor is still only available through the activity on Mars, but has also been available recently in the “Armor 2.0” variant.
The current Flashpoint can be found on Mars.
Petra Venj can currently be found (Curse Week 1) at the Pavilion in the area “The Shore”. In addition, the 2nd Ascendant Challenge is active.

This is how Powerful Loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful loot comes in several tiers that grant you different power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers also grant you higher power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Top gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes above 1050 and up to a maximum of 1060)
For your information: Power levels obtained from the new artifact “Seed of the Silver Wings” will not be taken into account for the calculation of the power levels of your drops. The average of gear and weapons is what matters here.
