The last two weeks in Destiny 2 before the new Season 23 have begun. Starting today, the last Iron Banner in Season 22 is also active. MeinMMO tells you what else is upcoming and what there is for Glimmer in the Eververse.
This is happening this week: After the story in Destiny 2 has now left its final cliffhanger, players are eagerly awaiting Season 23. This is also because it will likely bring initial changes that are intended to improve the gameplay experience.
But first, it’s a week of Iron Banner, which will also give Guardians a break from the sweaty Trials of Osiris.
In Season 22, there are rewards to earn that come in the Iron Banner look:
- The Arc Precision Bow “Deer Antler” from the Cassoid Forge.
- Additionally, the Strand Scout Rifle “The Leading Sight”, which has high penetration power.
Which mode is active in Iron Banner? For those who would like to know in advance what they need to do to obtain these weapons: You should play Iron Banner in the “Control” mode.
The Witch’s season is almost over. Have you completed all Triumphs?
The most important information about activities from November 14 to 21.
Nightfall
- The Lightblade, Savathun’s Throne World
- The Strike “The Lightblade” is currently considered a tough challenge and can be quite difficult in higher difficulty levels. Guardians travel to the deep swamps of the Throne World to obtain a relic that provides more clues on how Savathun gained the Light. You will face an Oryx-worthy opponent guarding the temple where the relic is located.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity
- The two modes Rift and Momentum Control are running this week in PvP.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
Farmable endgame on a weekly rotation: In the further course of the endgame, the Legacy Rotations await.
What does “Farmable Endgame” mean?
Since Season 21, all missions and raids rotate every week and are farmable. This means that both the active rotation raid, the active rotation dungeon, and the exotic rotation missions can be farmed in the week. You can complete the individual encounters multiple times to obtain different items and complete your collection. Including any Exotics available in this content.
- The weekly Legacy Raid is “King’s Fall” with the weapon Exotic “Malicious Touch”
- Additionally, there is extra loot in the dungeon “Duality” with the Exotic Heavy
Heartshadow
. - The weekly Exotic mission is “Signs” with the Scout Rifle “Tale of a Dead Man”.
Weekly Activities
These are the ritual activities: Season 22 offers Guardians new challenges and a card deck that supports them with buffs and benefits on their missions – as long as they unlock everything and put their deck together appropriately.
- Altars of Summoning: Make offerings in the otherworldly prison of the Witch Queen to summon hideous enemies, defeat them, and gain their power.
- There are three difficulty levels you can activate. So anyone who activates “Powerful”, the highest difficulty level with three swords, is really going to break a sweat.
- However, upgrading your deck makes it increasingly easier.
- Savathun’s Column: Activate the column, defeat her overseers, and gain access to the Altars of Summoning.
- Void Crystals have a barrier around them and protect nearby enemies. The barrier must be entered and the crystal destroyed from within.
- Solar Crystals burn upon pickup and must be transported to a separate part of the arena.
- Arc Crystals grant melee the charge buff “Crystalline Charge”. Inactive Arc Crystals need to be awakened with a “Transfer Melee”.
Lightfall – Weekly Campaign Mission
- “Risky”
- This mission reveals more information about the Cloud Ark, which Guardians are supposed to discover. Rohan sends you to the reactor of the network and the infrastructure of Neomuna.
Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
If you still need Triumphs from the Dreaming City: Corruption reveals to you new accesses with a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture”, so you can find them.
- Petra Venj has this week’s 2nd Ascendant Challenge for you. You can find Petra and her quest offering at the location “The Shore” in the Dreaming City. Here, too, Savathun has her fingers in play, as the curse begins to reclaim the sacred city of the Awoken at Level 1.
All sources for top loot in Season 22 of Destiny 2
More Power Level comes automatically: The power level is also suspended in Season 22, which means that the hard power level cap in Destiny 2 remains unchanged at 1,810. So no player is forced to perform at maximum every week but levels the artifact level automatically in all activities.
- There are still hard challenges, even without an increase in power level. For example, in Grandmaster Raids, Pinnacle Nightfalls, Grandmaster Lost Sectors, or the Trials of Osiris. Here, a high artifact level is advantageous and necessary.
If you are currently not at the hard cap of 1,810, we have listed the best sources for top loot for you here.
