After a successful raid weekend in Destiny 2, today’s weekly reset brings movement to the seasonal story again. The third and final battleground will be opened, and the Guardians can take another step in the story.
This is happening this week: Last week there was an unplanned postponement of two activities in Destiny 2. On one hand, the endgame in the form of “Trials of Osiris” is being brought forward. In return, the traditional Iron Banner, which should actually start today, has been pushed back by a week.
In week 3, there is also a new battleground experience called “Orbital Prison” in the ongoing “Season of Resistance” in PvE. However, some Guardians are also worried whether the Queen of the Rifts, Mara Sov, can endure the strain of sharing her power. Because already now, she is showing clear signs of weakness.
For the most eager Destiny players, this week the completion of progress in the Guardian Rank system will continue. The tasks issued by Bungie are real challenges starting from Rank 8 that not everyone can or wants to pass.
Our tip: Don’t ignore the ratings and evaluate other Guardians. This indirectly makes it easier for you to reach Rank 11 and especially the 6000 appreciation points. When you evaluate other Guardians, you receive appreciation points in return.

Vanguard: Nightfall – The Fire Trial
- “Hyper-Net Current”
- A strike awaits you in Neomuna with a racetrack. You are supposed to, together with Nimbus, penetrate into the Vex network to reactivate the city’s defense via the CloudArk.
Changes in Lightfall for the Nightfalls: The Vanguard challenges will be adjusted to take these changes into account in Lightfall. Additionally, Bungie will integrate scoring into the Vanguard Ops playlist. The higher your score, the larger the multiplier for your Vanguard Rank.
- Complete Vanguard activities with the wave focus.
- These can either be the seasonal waves for Nightfalls or the weekly waves for Vanguard Ops.
- Complete Nightfall activities.
- Higher difficulty levels provide correspondingly more progress.
- A single top-tier Nightfall also completes this challenge. However, it will not be available again in the game until April 11, 2023.
Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation
- The weekly legacy raid is the “Deep Stone Crypt” on Europa.
- In addition, there is also extra top-tier loot in the dungeon “Duality.”
Bungie will further expand these content rotations starting Season 22. Then players will be able to play not only raids and dungeons as “legacy” but also old exotic missions.
Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity:
- Fight as a fireteam in “Team Scorched” and go after opposing Guardians

- Prevent the Vex incursion on the CloudArk of Neomuna. This campaign mission also includes the strike “Hyper-Net Current.”
Ascendant Challenge – Dreaming City
If you still need Triumphs from the Dreaming City, then pay attention. The second stage of corruption reveals new accesses with a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture.”
