Destiny 2 is winding down the old year comfortably, which means the dawning is in its final week. To keep you updated on what to expect during this last week of the year 2021, we bring you the latest news and reveal what is happening this week.
What’s happening this week: In the last week of the year 2021, Bungie is taking a little break, making it quite silent. Players currently have an advantage and can have some fun a bit more unnoticed. For example, they are completing Lost Sectors in just 34 seconds or using the still way too strong Titan Exotic “Wurm-God Touch,” despite the nerf.
Additionally, Destiny 2 has already gained momentum for the new year 2022 and shown that it is absolutely not a “dead game” as many claim. On the contrary. The action MMO can still impress players in its third year on Steam.
Many players already pre-ordered eagerly in August, giving the DLC “The Witch Queen” a big vote of confidence in the constantly evolving universe of Destiny 2.
The important information about activities from December 28 to January 4.
This week, the Nightfall: The Proving Grounds is the strike:
- The Hollow Hideout, in the Weir Cove
- The Fanatic awaits you. You won’t be able to kill the Harbinger in the Weir Cove for much longer because he will soon be moving to the content vault in February 2022. So take the opportunity and take him down one more time.

- This week, in the Shattered Realm of the Ascendant Plane, you’ll encounter the “Forest of Echoes” if you want to discover the mysteries and find anchors.
