In Destiny 2 today, on September 11th, is Weekly Reset. You can find out here which activities, like the Nightfall strike or the Flashpoint, are live with today’s reset.
The resets have been going a bit differently since the release of the Forsaken expansion. The most important reset remains the Weekly Reset, which takes place every Tuesday at 7 PM.
The following activities and their rewards are reset with the Weekly Reset:
- “Call to Arms” Crucible challenges
- Flashpoints
- Raid challenges
- Raid checkpoints
- Nightfall strike
- Weekly clan engram
- Weekly clan XP caps
- Eververse selection of Bright Dust offers and Prism Engram
- Escalation Protocol: The final boss rotates every week with the Weekly Reset
Furthermore, there are now activities affected by a daily reset at 7 PM. Additionally, Heroic adventures are reset every week on Monday and Thursday at 7 PM. What else to note, as well as more details about the daily and weekly reset processes, you can find out here:
By the way: Most challenges are indicated by bright yellow star symbols in the planet overview when available. If you select a marker, a tooltip will show the respective weekly and daily challenges.

Nightfall strikes from September 11th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
Since update 2.0.0, you can choose weekly between three Nightfall strikes. This week there are:
- The Twisted Tower
- The Hollow Hideout
- Will of the Thousands
The recommended power level is 540. Modifiers are only available through the challenge card. Your gear is locked during the activity – so choose wisely.
Strikes and Story Missions
In the heroic story missions, the following modifiers are active:
- Arc Burn: Arc damage from all sources is slightly increased
- Blackout: Enemy melee attacks are significantly stronger and the radar is disabled
- Grenadier: Grenade abilities deal more damage and recharge much faster
Recommended power varies by mission between 280 and 500.
In the Vanguard Strikes, the same modifiers as in the heroic story missions are active. You can choose from the following difficulties:
- Level 30 – 300 Power
- Level 40 – 400 Power
- Level 50 – 500 Power

Crucible
In the Crucible, there are:
- Quickplay
- Competitive
- Rumble
- Control
- Private Match
- Gambit can also be started directly.
By the way: For victorious competitive Crucible matches, there are currently additional Glory points.

Escalation Protocol
If the current rotation is maintained, you have the chance at the final boss of Escalation Protocol this week to obtain the following three weapons:
- the legendary sniper rifle IKELOS_SSG_v1.0.1
- the legendary shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1
- the legendary submachine gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1

Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations, Bounties
The Flashpoint is today on Nessus.
In the Tower Bazaar, the Gambit vendor, the Wanderer, has 4 bounties. Grab them. For the bounties, you need to complete a Gambit match, defeat enemies, and summon blockers.
Ikora Rey has nothing for you.
Hawthorne has 3 daily and 3 weekly bounties for you.
Spider has 14 new wanted bounties for you among other things. His big weekly wanted bounty (PL 500) is “Burner Valus”.
Petra has 3 new weekly challenges for you – including the Ascendant challenge “Bridge Between Worlds” – as well as some daily bounties.
The loadout for the Prestige Raid sectors is limited this time to a kinetic hand cannon, an energy sniper rifle, and any power weapon. The modifier is Prism.
The Raid Challenge takes place this time in the Royal Baths.
