In Destiny 2 the Weekly Reset on March 10 finally marks the beginning of Season 10. Additionally, weekly activities such as Nightfall Strikes and the Flashpoint will rotate. What else can Guardians look forward to this week?
What is happening in Destiny 2? After Guardians download and install the new Update 2.8.0, they can finally enjoy the fresh content of Season 10.
To ensure you are well-informed ahead of the new Season of Worthy, here’s everything you need to know:

Furthermore, the upcoming resets will continue to take place at 6:00 PM until March 29. After that, the weekly activities will change to 7:00 PM.
So, what else does the Destiny week bring?
Key information about weekly activities from March 10 to March 17.
These Nightfall Strikes are available: For the regular Nightfall (Power Level 820), you can choose from these Nightfalls:
- The Pyramidion
- Will of the Thousands
- Bruteforce
In Nightfall: The Ordeal you can attempt the strike
- The Insight Terminus
successfully.
For Strikes and story missions these modifiers are active:
- Arc Burn
- Blackout
- Grenadier
Note that the burn modifier remains the same for the entire week. The other modifiers rotate daily.
Crucible: You can play these modes and playlists in PvP:
- Private Match (Core Playlist)
- Rumble (Core Playlist)
- Control (Core Playlist)
- Conflict (Rotating Playlist)
- Showdown (Rotating Playlist)
- Elimination (Core Playlist)
- Survival (Core Playlist)
- Survival: Freelance (Core Playlist)
- Classic Mix (Core Playlist)
- Trials of Osiris (starting March 13)
Strike: These modifiers are active:
- Arc Burn
- Heavyweight
Escalation Protocol: This weapon can be obtained on Mars from the Escalation Protocol:
- the legendary submachine gun IKELOS_MP_v1.0.1
Flashpoint: The current Flashpoint is located on:
- IO
Petra Venj can currently be found (Curse Week 1) at the Pavilion in the area “The Shore”. The 2nd Ascendant Challenge is live.

This is how Powerful loot is structured in Destiny 2: Powerful loot comes in several tiers that grant different power boosts. Accordingly, higher tiers will grant you higher power boosts.
- Tier 1 (up to +3 above the current power level)
- Tier 2 (up to +4 above the current power level)
- Tier 3 (up to +5 above the current power level)
- Peak gear (+5 or more above the power level. The only gear that goes over 1000 and up to a maximum of 1010.
For your information: Power levels gained through the seasonal artifact are not taken into account for the calculation of your loot drops’ power levels. The average of the gear and weapons is decisive here.
