Destiny 2 offers you good opportunities to grab additional top loot starting today, June 8th. What does the new Weekly Reset offer Guardians as reasons to log in during Season 14?
What’s coming in the action MMO: Destiny 2 is in the middle of Season 14, the Season of the Splicer. A quick look at the roadmap reveals that there is something for both PvE players and Crucible acrobats – though more snacks rather than large content chunks:
- A new Expunged mission is ready, where you hack deeper into the Vex network.
- As usual, you need to first visit the Splicer Servitor in the H.E.L.M. and will access the new labyrinth during the quests.
- For PvP fans, the Iron Banner event takes place for one week.
- A good opportunity to increase your power level, so visit Lord Saladin in the Tower and take the top bounties with you.
- Bungie has now ensured that the two new Iron Banner weapons “Riiswalker” (shotgun) and “Archon’s Thunder” (LMG) are in the loot pool and can be acquired via tokens.
- In keeping with the Iron Banner, you will earn additional Valor points for PvP matches throughout the week.
This week seems to be quiet – but we thought the same for the last Weekly Reset. Suddenly, there was one of the best storylines ever and a new cutscene in a dark look; we are excited. And then there was the biggest Stasis nerf so far, which is being actively discussed.

In Nightfall: The Final Trial, you fight your way through the Prison of Elders in the strike:
- Guardians of Nothing (at the end, the big Servitor awaits)

Petra Venj can be found in the “Rheasilvia” area of the Dreaming City – so the maximum curse is active (Week 3). Additionally, the 1st Ascendant Challenge awaits you.

This is the new max level: In the Season of the Splicer, the max power level of your gear increases to 1,320. This is a rather small jump of only +10 (from the previous Season 13). This should reduce the annoying grind, and if you were diligent in Season 13, you only need to play the pinnacle activities to boost your level.
