In Destiny 2, on May 8th, the Weekly Reset is back. Update 1.2.0, Hotfix 1.2.0.1, and the Warmind expansion are now live! With the weekly reset, a new chapter in the story of Destiny 2 begins.
The maintenance work on this Tuesday is finally over! With a slight maintenance delay, a new week and a new chapter in the Destiny universe begins. After successfully downloading and installing the Warmind DLC, Update 1.2.0, and Hotfix 1.2.0.1, Guardians can now engage in brand new tasks.
As part of the story, all Warmind DLC owners are heading to Mars to face a new threat. But there is also plenty to do in the Crucible and in Strikes.
WARNING – UPDATE: If you receive a message stating that you do not own the Warmind content or that you need to purchase it, you need to restore your licenses. This should fix the issue.
Let’s see what this week has to offer.
Nightfall starting May 8th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week, the Nightfall is “The Arms Dealer”.
You have the chance to earn the following exclusive Nightfall reward this week: the exotic Sparrow “The Guiding Star”.
No modifiers are active in the normal Nightfall!
In Prestige mode, you need to activate the modifiers through the challenge cards. These cards drop for DLC owners in both the normal and Prestige modes of the Nightfall.
The following challenges are to be mastered:
- Unbroken: Complete the Nightfall with less than 3 deaths.
- Striker for the Striker: Take down a Striker while fighting Bracus Tynoc.
Heroic Strike Modifiers
The following modifiers are active in the heroic strike playlist:
- Solar Flare: Solar damage from all sources is slightly increased
- Iron: Enemies have more health and do not flinch when taking damage
- Charger: Melee abilities deal more damage and charge much faster
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is on Nessus this week. You need to master public events there.
Cayde-6 has Nessus treasure maps available for you.
Ikora Rey has meditations for the missions “Six”, “Sacrilege”, and “The Entrance”.
The raid challenge this time takes place in the Royal Baths.
Crucible
The weekly Crucible playlist has the Rumble mode active.
