If you were curious about what to expect in Destiny 2 with the Witch Queen, the latest ViDoc from Bungie has you covered. The first glimpses of the new DLC are promising and visually impressive. Here’s what you can play in the Destiny universe this week.
This is happening this week: Savathun continues to chill, and it looks like Destiny 2 players will have to wait longer, as the seasonal quest drags on. The first Guardians are even starting to worry about Savathun. So, you can keep an eye on the secret bridge building or catch up on the secrets of the seasonal quest in the ViDoc.
Don’t forget: This week, there’s again free Ascendant Shards in the Eververse, and you can pay one last visit to the Fanatic. The strike “The Hollowed Lair” makes its final appearance in Beyond Light before the game content rotates.
If you prefer PvP, you can either indulge in the Conflict mode this week or take on the Trials of Osiris over the weekend.

The Nightfall: The Devil’s Lair is the strike this week:
- The Hollowed Lair, in the Riven’s Cove
- The Fanatic awaits you. You won’t have much longer to kill the Harbinger of Scorn in the Riven’s Cove, as he will soon, in February 2022, be moving to the Content Vault. So seize the opportunity and play him again on Grandmaster, and don’t forget: This week is his last time in the Nightfall rotation before he has to leave Destiny 2.
- These Nightfall weapons are currently available:
- The Comedian, Void Shotgun (Master)
- Shadowprice, Arc Auto Rifle (Master)
- Playlist Strikes have these modifiers:
- Void Singe
- Grounded
- Brawler
- The Singe modifier accompanies you all week, while the others change daily.

This is happening in the raid “Glass Chamber”:
- This time you’ll have a chance to prove yourself against Atheon in “Teamwork Refrain”: In each of the 3 Oracle phases, each player can only destroy one Oracle. As a reward, in Challenge Mode, the time-lost weapon “Corrective Measure” awaits – next season, a buff is coming for all SMGs, so secure yourself a strong example now.
- As a reward, in the Challenge Mode the time-lost weapon “Corrective Measure” is guaranteed to come with 2 perks per slot.

This is the new max level: In the Season of the Lost, the maximum power level of your gear is at 1,330. Thus the power level has only risen by +10 compared to the previous Season 14.
So you won’t be bothered with the annoying levels, but can dive straight into the endgame.
