In Destiny 2 is currently turbulent. Just before the new expansion, Sony announces it’s acquiring Bungie. Then it becomes known that “The Witch Queen” is well on its way to becoming the most pre-ordered expansion in Destiny 2 history. Whether it will be equally exciting in the game after the Weekly Reset, we will reveal to you now.
This week: The Witch Queen remains, along with the Worm, in her crystal prison, and Mara Sov continues to do nothing to free her or to start the Worm Exorcism by the Intrigued Lady. Perhaps today is finally the day, as the new lunar year, which has cosmic significance, begins, and it feels like the perfect day for a Worm Exorcism. Moreover, there are only three weeks left until the launch of Witch Queen on February 22. But somehow the seasonal quest does indeed have the worm in it.
Additionally, Guardians will be put to the test again this week. The Trials Lab returns and comes with a reputation rank boost, allowing you to level up faster. In the Crucible, you can also let loose in the Showdown mode.

- Caitl’s Champion is still not bored and challenges you again in the great tank on Nessus. Defeat him and prove that you deserve the title “Champion of Humanity” by facing him on the highest difficulty “Top-Notch”.

This is happening in the raid “Vault of Glass“:
- In the Vault of Glass, you will encounter the Gatekeeper Challenge “Strangers in Time”. To succeed, you must defeat the Minotaurs in the various timelines simultaneously with the Wyverns. With a bit of coordination, it’s a solvable challenge.
- As a reward, the Challenge Mode offers the time-lost weapon “Vex Mythoclast”. The weapon will come with 2 perks per slot guaranteed.
