Destiny 2 had its Weekly Reset yesterday, on January 30th. There are new activities to master, such as the Nightfall strike or the Flashpoint.
Since yesterday, Tuesday, there are several new things in the Destiny universe:
- The Update 1.14 has been deployed, introducing various bug fixes as well as new features – such as Masterwork armor and a revamp of raid rewards. You can find all the changes here in the patch notes for 1.14.
- Additionally, the first Iron Banner in Season 2 has started. You can earn new weapons and ornaments, as well as some cosmetic items. Read all the info about the current Iron Banner here.
What else is new since the Weekly Reset?
Nightfall strike from January 30th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
This week, Savathun’s Song is the Nightfall.
The modifiers:
- Momentum: Health and shield regeneration stop when you are not moving. Sprint to accelerate regeneration.
- Time Loop: Anomalies: Destroy anomalies to extend the mission timer.
The challenges:
- Complete the Nightfall with at least 5 minutes of remaining time.
- Complete the Nightfall with fewer than 3 deaths.
- Shoot 15 of its projectiles before defeating Savathun’s Song.
Flashpoint, Raid Challenge, Treasure Maps, Meditations
The Flashpoint is on Nessus. There, you can master public events.
Cayde-6 has treasure maps for Nessus.
The Lust Garden Challenge is active in the raid.
In the Eververse, you can get the Bunched Gesture and the “Teasing Dance” gesture for Glimmer. As Exotics, the “SV-112 Scavenger” Sparrow, the Speed Demon Ghost shell, as well as ornaments for the Tractor Cannon and Telesto are available for purchase.
Ikora Rey has meditations for the missions Cycle, Utopia, and The Entrance. Additionally, with yesterday’s update, the faulty waypoint over Ikora that has been annoying for months has finally been removed.
Lord Saladin is located on the building above the Gunsmith. He sells five armor pieces as well as the weapons Crimils Dagger, Frostmire’s Curse, and Gunnora’s Axe.
